BEPNewt was kind enough to send me his old DS. I plan on giving it to my 7 year old daughter. Looking for fun games for DS that might be sitting around your house. Currently she is wanting a Lego Friends game I'm hoping to surprise her with. Seems like $20 at gamestop. I can't seem to find pokemon for a reasonable price. Etc. Let me know what you might be willing to part with! DM me.

Pokemon games will never drop in price and the DS versions of, say Black and White, are horrendously expensive. Or used to be as I haven't priced anything for a while.

Are we talking a real DS or a 3DS?

If it's a DS, does it have a GBA slot?

It's a DSi so no GBA slot. Yeah I have found that pokemon games are 100 minimum.

Well, I don't think I have any kid friendly DS games to offload, but I can recommend:

Nintendogs
Style Savvy

Anyway, good luck! Might consider posting in the 3DS thread as DS games are playable in the 3DS and folks may still have some games laying around they'd like to unload.

The below is still available if anyone is interested! Bumping it in case the page change caused some to miss. I'll probably be putting this up on ebay next week if no one here is interested.

I'm looking to offload my launch PS4 and launch PSVR and all games. Everything runs well (the PS4 is often loud, of course, but I don't think that makes it in any way unusual). Here's the complete list of what I'm selling, all together:

Launch PS4
Launch PSVR
2 Dualshock 4 controllers
1 PlayStation Camera
2 PlayStation Move controllers
PSVR processor box

PSVR-capable games (disc copies):
AstroBot Rescue Mission
Blood & Truth
Tetris Effect
Batman Arkham VR
Werewolves Within
PlayStation VR Worlds
PlayStation VR Demo Disc

Regular PS4 games:
Marvel's Spider-Man
Hidden Agenda (I know no one is deciding whether to buy this bundle based on this game or not, but I would like to state for the record that I think it rules and is criminally under-recognized)

Selling the whole package for $500 including shipping (US GWJers only). PM me if you're interested.

I also have a really awesome PSVR stand that holds the headset and charges 2 DualShock controllers and 2 Move wands. It is a fantastic accessory to your PSVR, but I worry including it would entail a significant bump on shipping costs--if you're interested in getting that too, let's talk, I'm open to figuring out how to include that with the bundle with a small bump in price to account for the extra shipping.

(and for folks who care about this sort of thing, I have the original boxes for the PS4 and PSVR)

Also, I randomly found my copy of Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate, the PS Vita Arkham game. It's just the Vita cartridge, no case or anything else. If you want it, PM me and I'll just put it in a regular envelope with a stamp and send it off to you for free.

For sale: Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (Switch) - $45 shipped $42 shipped

Let me know if anyone's interested.

Edit: price drop

Hm, I told myself I would finish the 2nd one first...

Selling my gray Switch Lite, 128gb sdcard, and the screen protector on the Switch. $200 for the lot shipped.

Anyone want my Millennium Actress DVD (sub only)? I upgraded to the bluray recently so I have no use for it. All I'm asking for is the price of shipping. Sold it on ebay

I have a copy of Last of Us Part 2. Perfect condition with a perfect case. $45 shipped. PM if interested (this will ship 8/18 since I'm travelling later this week).

Selling my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Windforce OC for $200 shipped.
SOLD

It's never been overclocked or used for mining and its in fantastic condition. It's been in the box since March since my job provided me with my workstation PC to work from home. It's amazing for 144hz 1080p gaming and great at 1440p which is what I was using it mostly for.

Comes with original box, port protectors and is in the original anti static bag. Basically like new condition.

I've sold 3 video cards at GWJ and everyone has been happy buyers!

---Dropping this to $200. Would rather hand it over to a fellow Goodjer than a rando Ebayer.--

Does anyone have any old train toy pieces? My cousin gave me a set of wooden track (1 inch wheel separation) for my 4YO it's an old style, wooden train pieces with rounded magnets for couplings. Unfortunately, both of the battery powered locomotives are on their way out for various reasons so if anyone has a set that includes one that they might be willing to part with, please let me know. We don't need anything besides the locomotive but if we have a little room for more track and or train pieces.

Amazon has pretty good selection of the round magnet style train and tracks to go with it, just FYI.

i know, i'd just rather buy something from someone who's making space or trying to make a little extra money then pay bezos especially since this isn't something my kid needs right away.

For sale: Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (Switch) - $45 shipped

Let me know if anyone's interested.

$40 shipped.

Has anyone sold several hundred DVDs and Blu-rays and old video Games and Systems locally? Any suggestions? Facebook marketplace doesn't see to best for that. Shipping all at once would kill any profit I'd think and would turn away buyers. Selling 400 or so movies individually on eBay seems like a LOT of work.

I sold a chunk on Ebay and didn't get as much as I could, but it seemed easiest since shipping was paid by the buyer. I got a couple hundred bucks for quite a lot of dvds. Was worth it to clear out the space and have it be done in one go.

Game systems and games are something I would sell locally and individually until you get to the games folks don't seem interested in (*cough* golf games *cough*).

Also selling on Amazon is pretty easy and Amazon trade in is even easier if you find something they will give a decent price for. Otherwise a local used shop like Half Price Books is where I unloaded the rest of my collections a few years ago.

I took a big box of DVDs and games to a Disc Replay location here in Metro Detroit a couple years back. I just popped in one day when they opened at 10am, they were able to take about 80% of them, and I took the store credit. I only did this with the stuff that I knew 100% I didn't care about the price, I just wanted them out of my life.

For the stuff that I know has some value, I've sold a handful in this thread and a few to coworkers. I'm not so much looking to get money, I'd rather know that the valued stuff goes to someone who will also get some play value out of whatever I sell.

I'm not sure if there's limits on promoting third parties, but a friend of mine is between jobs and looking to sell off a large chunk of his collection of board and video games from his efforts over the last 10 years, for 'Whatever you can + shipping', with some minimum prices for particularly rare/valuable games.

The list is here.

I've encouraged him to set up a spreadsheet and try for a sort of informal time-limited auction, but what he really wants is for the games to go to people who will appreciate them.

Lot of this stuff he hasn't even had time to play himself, so definitely a bit sad. I'm encouraging him to join up here, but the sheer volume of titles he's putting up for sale is just too much for any threaded conversation system to handle.

Rpg collectors will eat that up

He needs to post prices or at least a ballpark estimate or baseline of like $X dollars per game. There is a lot there and most people are not going to take the time to pick out what they want if there is no expectation of how much they will pay.

Yeah that's a monster list, and I see some gems. But without any minimum prices there, that's a lot of haggling.

Passed that along, and hopefully it will be acted on soon.

.

Is he selling consoles too? If so, list which version of the console, and I'm interested in the Sony consoles.

He wasn't planning on selling the consoles, but if there's a demand, he might... Mostly he's selling the games he's willing to part with, and still has games that matter more to him.

As an update to that megalist of a collection going up on sale, my friend now realizes just how much of a CF that it was going to be, and is putting it on pause while he works out a better way to handle things, probably going system by system. I'm working on the process with him, and I'll let you all know when he's got it figured out. Because he was simply swamped with requests (and with the GWJ forum advice) warning him about getting ripped off as well as the challenges of shipping out to dozens of different buyers, he's going to get the logistics sorted out and his own ruleset (like bundles of games getting interest while another person wants just one of those games, how to handle that?) so that he isn't overwhelmed by haggling and whatnot.

So, I'll bring this up again once he has the system worked out; he didn't realize he was going to be drinking from the fire hose... especially once I got involved with advertising it... eh, hehehh...heh...

It's a second job with that many games!

Crosspost from Lego Thread.

I have a weird request. Lego just released the Series 2 Harry Potter minifigures, and my daughter is looking for four specific ones. I've looked in most of the usual places, but they are either not there or incomplete. She's looking for Hermione Granger with the cup, Ron Weasley with the cup, Lily Potter with baby Harry, and James Potter. In case anyone gets or has those and is willing to part with them, let me know, we can work some kind of payment out.

Found them!

Okay, I have created my eBay listing for this, but I so much prefer selling to GWJers, so I will try one more time, now selling for $330 shipped. PS4 + PSVR + a bunch of games (mostly VR). PM me if you're interested.
