Random thing you loathe right now.

The specials following season four of Doctor Who are not on streaming. I know it won't be an. Bg deal to skip to the next run, but I at leaset want to watching end of time to see the transformation and get tenants fairwell performance as the doctor as viewed.

Yep. They're the last few episodes of Season 4 on Netflix. If you're watching on Amazon Prime, they're in a special bundle called The David Tennant Specials.

Apparently FIOS is not available at my address, despite the website telling me otherwise

Why do people feel the need to wear so much cologne that after 5 minutes of sitting behind them as class starts I'm about to have an asthma attack. Then as I go up and tell my professor that I need to leave, people are already giving me the "stop making s**t up" stare, have people never heard that too much cologne/perfume/etc can make some sick?

Don't be meek. Whisper just loud enough for that Axe-hole to hear.

I have a memory burned in where I was just getting over a bad sinus infection, my nose is still clogged, but this chick walks into the school coffee lounge reeking of cheap perfume, to talk with my study buddy/room mate. I had to excuse myself and go study in a solo cubicle.

While I love that my fingers are healing nicely, I hate that they are currently at the stage of itching like a motherf*cker. It's really only bad at night when I'm barely awake and forget that it's because I maimed myself, and I stupidly scratch them. Not the best feeling, even if they're covered with band-aids.
Also, over the last week I've been trying to further harm my left index finger. It was the one that was the worst after the oil incident, and I've managed to slice it open, as well as crush it with a cast iron pot while I was washing it out.
I like to believe that I have skills in the kitchen, one of those skills just seems to be hurting myself.

I had that issue. They even installed it at the houses across the street. I emailed the CEO and they got on it right away. Apparently the subcontractors are paid for speed and will skip any house with an issue. In my case, they needed an easement to get to my back yard and didn't bother to try to resolve it. I love the TV picture and the internet speed. I loathe their price increase after 2 years (but we managed to talk them down - it took several long calls. They would rather give their best rates to the new customer than the returning, stable people with a 2 year long history of paying on time.

That's exactly what we're running in to on our cable internet right now. The rates keep going up. I don't know if our apartment building is wired for it, IIRC I looked in to the option when we moved in almost 3 years ago and it wasn't then. That was before Frontier bought out the system from Verizon, though, and they seem to be expanding the network.

Loathe this as well. The major internet providers here are an oligopoly and have little interest in retaining existing customers. When fibre finally reached my house, I jumped to a smaller service provider who offers a no-frills service but does not do any traffic shaping or packet inspection.

If it weren't for live hockey games, I could conceivably do it.

Gamecenter Live for $49.99 for the season. All the hockey you can handle. Sure, the local games will be blacked out (unless you use a DNS proxy), but that's what local sports bars are for.

Yeah, so, you can't watch at home, and you can't sit around naked at the bar. That's what they call a "naked hockey mexican standoff."

So that's why you all are building the new house.

It's all making sense now.

Ranger Rick sees buff hockey players hitting into each other. Is overcome with the urge to get naked.

Gotcha.

Three hour time difference. I hate it. I'm bright eyed and bushy-eyed at 7 and it's already 10 p.m. for one of my friends.

Welcome to "Trying to hook up with people at a decent time - Western Timezones Edition!"

It's the reason I don't really play online with anyone anymore. By the time my kids are in bed, and I have time to play, it's 11:00 out East. I've gotten so used to it, I'm kind of a miser now.

Wait until you realize you have to turn on the tv at 3:30 in the afternoon to catch a full night of hockey.

Hey, let's form our own clan of Westernites. Or Pacificites. We can game on and on through the East Coast night making all those peeps jealous with sleepy rage.

Sounds like an untapped market to me. Best set up a meeting with your local bank manager!

We have a regional one so far.

See?? I'm even cut off from the Westerners!! Reckenfreckenmackinrackin......

That so many people on the web type "based off of" when the correct phrase is "based on". When have you ever seen the intro of a movie or TV show say "based off of a true story"? Never. That's when.

Early morning shifts. Especially when someone calls in sick and I end up covering their shift. Extra hours sure, but 7 am to 4 in the afternoon on my feet slapping together sandwiches and filling god knows how many freaking 10 nugget boxes (thank again McDonald's for that freaking 40 nugget addition to the menu >.<) is not my idea of a fun time. Bright spot is the new store manager comped my lunch.

At least they aren't writing "based of have".

Where the heck do you live? West of west of the westest west?

Aries is east of the sun and west of the moon.

I live too far west to hang with eastern timezoners, yet too far east to be in Edwin and Clover's cool Cascadia crew.
I am an Albertan. Home of much farming and oil. So much redneck, so few Goodjers. I believe I can name 4 other than myself, and 1 in Saskatchewan.
The weather is really unlikely to kill you though! Unless you get frozen. Or one of the few tornados get ya.

Alberta is only one timezone away from me. We're practically related
