Batman: Arkham Asylum Catch-All

Well thats annoying. My save file completely vanished. It looks like it's because I didn't quit back to the main menu before exiting the game. Well.....That's that then. This was a contender for fantastic game but I'm not going to go all the way back to the beginning and replay hours of hunting clues all over again.

Check your save folder - it might still be there, just moved to another location(if on PC).

Nope. On 360.

Arkham City did the same to my save file.

How far were you? You may be able to find a save close to where you were online.

I hope it doesn't do it to mine but at least I've finished the story. I'm really into the game now and I want to do new game plus and the challenge rooms.

Eh. But it wouldn't be my save.

It's interesting from a mechanical viewpoint. The (game being saved) symbol wasn't showing when I switched off the xbox but the file was still lost. I can understand losing current game progress in some circumstances but what would cause the game to delete an entire save?

Bad hard drive sectors? How old is your 360?

Acording to multiple help threads it's a known issue in both asylum and city that happens if you quit the game without exiting to the main menu first.

Meh. I'm off to try Darksiders 2 instead. I bet War don't delete your saves without permission.

Oh yes. Must download Darksiders 2. I'll give it a try for free
