Just so you all know, Mantid is a legend.

Yeah that's why I made him come here to hang out years ago.

You're welcome.

I had a dream that I was coughing up paperclips (regular size and large) by the handful. Everyone treated this as odd but not a big deal. Would this condition be deadly? Is there a market for natural grown paperclips?

Yes.

Is there a way to set price alerts for flights that filter by "flights that any human being would ever voluntarily book"?

I set up a Google Flights alert for cheap round trips from Tucson to Dallas, and it is constantly sending me emails about dirt cheap deals if you want to spend twelve hours each way in multiple layovers in cities hundreds of miles in the opposite direction, in order to spend a grand total of eight hours in Dallas before doing the same thing again.

When I go to actually book a flight on a specific date, there's a handy checkbox to display direct flights only, but that checkbox is not present when I go to set a price alert. And I wouldn't mind a reasonable layover if it saved me some money on a longer trip where the time spent felt worth it, but what it's showing me right now is not helpful.

There is also an IKEA near me in Emeryville.
Does the website have store availability functionality?

Yes they do but it isn't super reliable in my experience. We went down to the one in Dallas specifically because it said something we wanted was in stock and it turned out it was just due to be in stock but hadn't arrived yet. Wish they would build one closer to us since it is like a 3.5 hour drive.

Yeah, call first. If it's a popular one, it could also sell out in the time it takes you to get there.

Just to be clear, Legion received his IKEA items last Wednesday if that is what the IKEA talk is about

I was responding to Fang's question above.

Yes, I know what you're responding too, I'm just not sure why Fang brought it up

Mine is not to reason why...

IKEA does make it really easy to set up alerts for direct flights though.

LTTP and to be not helpful?

Do any of you use Notion and if you do what do you use it for?
