Next topic: What is art?
Aw man, I was hoping for another eight pages of punk debate.
If you want 3 different definitions of punk, just ask two punks to agree on one.

Hold on, it'll take me a while to find the pictures of my erotic woodcarvings, but stand by.

HOT TAKE - AMERICAN PUNK IS BETTER THAN BRITISH PUNK
Exhibit 1 is that dead boys song that I posted on the previous page.
Exhibit 2: 1977 Richard Hell and the Voidoids
Ah but punk was never intended to be liked by people sitting at home. It was invented as a means to channel anger against the system.

But I’m 50 years old now. These days I channel my anger against the system from the comfort of my couch or driver’s seat. I have back problems and weak kidneys. I might be diabetic, and I have asthma. Direct action is now a spectator sport for me. Tell you what. I’ll fund the young folks’ activities with my credit card and watch the video on YouTube.
Ah but punk was never intended

I'm confused by this "X punk is better than Y punk" thing.
Surely any true aficionado of the genre should understand that if it's good, or if somebody enjoys listening to it, then that's not True Punk.

Genius.
Another way to understand punk is the phrase "Never trust a hippy".
People were mad at all those hippys who preeeched peace and love, enjoyed the drugs and sex then went on to become boomers and screw over the next generation.
But a guy playing with his own poop during the show, now THAT'S a guy you can trust.
sorry image didn't work and i can't figure out how to make it work. :/
There's even punk for the online gaming folks.
This is what Doc found for us.
By our powers combined...

I was thinking along the lines of trees or nature. Perhaps big slave labor?

Yes, but not corporate steam. Steam wants to be free!
What's steampunk rebelling against? Electricity?
Mercantilism.
WTF is Valheim and why are 25 goodjers on my Steam friends list playing it right now?
Viking survival game. Coop with dedicated server.
It's working out to be the next Minecraft for me, only the game as it stands is mind bogglingly more immersive and polished.
