Castle Catch All.

And at the end they tried to equate their sudden love with a marriage proposal. WTF

While this was a good episode, and I loved the beginning, I think I'll be dropping Castle after this season. It's probably been at least a season since I lost that anticipation of watching Castle on Monday. It was, at one point, the thing I most looked forward to on Mondays. There's hardly any character development anymore. Alexis and the Captain have gone nowhere despite small attempts, and the Kate & Richard story, which was the last good thing, is basically complete. We also had this plot about a politician and Kate's mother blah blah blah. I can't even remember what it was about.

A s-what?

Mal: [after being told that use of a sword will be provided for a duel] Use of a s-what?

Edit: I missed a reference, yay!

Castle has been interrupted because some arsehole decided to shoot up the largest mall in NJ. Don't spoil it for me!

They solve the case.

I got to see the end. I just missed a whole lotta middle.

This might not be the right thread, but I have to ask. What the hell is on Martha Jones' head?

Ah,that's not Martha Jones, but Crown Prosecutor Alesha Phillips. That's how they roll in British courtrooms.

I'm going to spoil it a little -- after the events of the main case, they went on to solve the murder of President Kennedy, they found Jimmy Hoffa's secret stash, and interviewed Elvis. They were on a roll.

Spoiler:

It was all Castle's father.

Have to say tonight was obvious.

Ahhh, I'd read that's what she left the show for.

So, does Alexis finally get over herself?

No...I agree with Grenn. I want her to be wrong at least once. It's a much milder case of the Disney Syndrome where the children are always right and the parents are always wrong. I hate that sh*t.

No. I'm starting to hope they write her off the show. Her character is terrible.

Agreed. They have a bad habit of telegraphing the killer. In this episode, the killer's attitude when introduced was a total give away.

Yeah I don't always guess. And I know generally they have to introduce the killer as a witness, suspect, family member, or whatever. I guess it's "fair" to the audience that the killer doesn't come out of left field and off screen.

But this week was one of the most obvious of the whole series run. The killer came on screen for their first scene and I was like "they did it". The rest was me waiting to see how Castle and Alexis got back to it.

My wife immediately guessed the killer, as well. I fell for the red herring.

I fell for it too. The first words that left his mouth I was like, "he did it and his brother knew about it the whole time". So I felt smart for about... ten minutes.

It was a well done red herring. Threw me off my initial suspicion too.

What, Communism?

Grenn, I hate you, so much it-it- the f - it -flam - flames. Flames, on the side of my face, breathing-breathl- heaving breaths. Heaving breaths... Heaving...

Ugh one of the worst episodes so far. Really played like someone who took cliffnotes on the characters' relationships and then wrote this thing the night before first shoot. They've been doing a good job of getting good actors playing cameo parts for people involved with the crimes, but this one was just CHEESY start to finish.

Well, it was the Sheriff's son, in the living room, with his bare hands. Now, I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife.

The preview for next week's episode... has jumped the shark.

Spoiler:

Didn't they do a Castle lookalike last season?

Really liked tonight.

Spoiler and Batman Arkham City Spoiler:

Spoiler:

The music at the end brought me right back to the Joker's singing during the Arkham City credits.

Link is the song with some lip syncing by Mista J.

Huh. Rewatching with my wife and got to call bullsh*t on some stuff. Spoiler for episode that airs in 40 minutes, so don't read early. :p

Spoiler:

Dock guy at the beginning calls out to the victim. No one around watching. So clearly he didn't really do it, despite the confession later. So he's completely a fall guy for 3XK and/or the doctor? Thought he was a partner of sorts, but it just doesn't jive with the opening scene that he actually killed the first victim.
