Where do you guy think Kaos is going in the second season if there is one? I think Kaos is a person, maybe one of Zeus's kids. He or she will be the new king of the gods or pull a Kratos on them. The frame will be fixed to recycle souls back to Earth. There will be a lot of strife on Earth over what happens when they die but by the end a peace will fall with some people hating the gods and others loving them. Zeus isn't coming out of this alive.
I dunno! That's why I want a second season!!!
It’s sounding like I might have to watch Kaos.

So in Greek myth as I recall,i need to pull some books off the shelf.
Kaos was the primordial nothingness that existed before Gaia and Uranus the earth and sky who spawned the titans who spawned the gods ( each killing their own father because that’s what we do in the myths) now hazily I think some of the tellings of the myths personify Kaos whilst in others it’s a place somewhere beneath Hades and Tartarus I suspect we would be going with a personification . Really fascinated to see how they play with it
It’s sounding like I might have to watch Kaos.
Please do and in whatever way pleases the great god algorithm the most.
Well, we still need the order to wane and the family to fall before Kaos can reign. The obvious interpretation is that the order that wanes is the order on earth that the gods have imposed, and the family that will fall is the family of the Zeus. Kaos being the state of nothingness before the gods existed, I suspect that Kaos will not be a person, but the absence of gods. It could mean that the humans get to live their lives without any more interference from the gods. It could also be cheeky and mean the state of nonexistence the characters and world will be in after the show is over. I wouldn't put it past them to do something unexpected with it though, given how the Fates have talked about their prophecies already.
Ok 40 seconds of Kaos and I’m in. The music choice helped.
The settings are beautiful too. And it helps that I’ve been to all of them.
Just watched Rebel Ridge the prequel to Rebel Moon. The movie is about a real problems in the legal system that has a fantastical pushback solution to the problem.
I liked the beginning of the movie and the movie overall. The ending was not complete in my opinion. They didn't really tie up all the threads. I liked the action but didn't like the lack of killing. I can see why they did it that way but it took me out of the movie.
Very good cast all around. John Boyega was the original lead in this movie but he walked off the set literally. I haven't heard what his problem was but his replacement was great. He played Malcom X and the rapper in Old. Am I the only one that liked that movie.
I give this prequel to Rebel Moon 7.5 rednecks with guns out of 10. Biggest problem it was to long for how it ended. They could have cut a 30 minutes out of this or added 30 minutes for a more solid ending. Oh wait a minute the sheriff was one of the dudes from Miami Vice. Practically the same characters. Can't believe I didn't see it before.
Don Johnson has really been eating lately on that evil genial good ole boy character. He's popped up as basically the same guy in three or four different great movies and I love it every time.
I watched Boy Kills World last night. It was... ok. Good fight scenes(brutal!) and cleverly done. It overstayed by like 20 minutes, but was pretty solid if you are looking for a brainless fighting movie.
Finished Uglies last night.
Kinda bummed they didn't finish it in lieu of a sequel. Its based on a series of books so I guess its expected.
They said Divergent meets Hunger Games but I got a lot more Logan's Run (in reverse?) vibes. Didn't get Hunger Games at all and the Divergent stuff sort of crept in the last 10 minutes.
Still enjoyable and I like the actors. (aside from Shay who was a little forced)
I watched the new documentary Apollo 13 Survival. It’s very effective, combining archive footage with close ups of appropriate instrumentation. It was tense and at times very moving. Knowing the outcome really didn’t help. It was also fascinating to see the world’s reaction to the unfolding drama.
My only criticism would be that the documentary should have shown the actual guys who were on onboard Apollo 13 at the time; which, as we all know, were Tom Hanks, Bill Paxton and Kevin Bacon.
I wonder if the astronaut currently trapped will get a movie. hmmm I guess they aren't "trapped" more like extremely delayed.
Twilight of the gods is amazing
I watched Uglies and didn't get it. This is a YA movie where everyone a certain age is force to get a operation to make them pretty. Yeah that was a twilight episode or two. The people that don't want the operation rebel against the pretty people. The end.
First everyone in the movie is good looking. Some of the "ugly" people were better looking than the "pretty" people. Maybe they were going for something that the operation was more for brain washing but then why weren't there some legit ugly people.
They had some good sci fi tech but some really bad cgi in spots. Those cgi scenes weren't needed. They just looked dumb.
I give the movie 3 ugly people out of 10. Just watch the twilight zone episodes that dealt with this concept better. Isn't it ironic, don't you think? Its like rain on wedding day. Its a free ride when you already paid. its good advice that you just didn't take. And who would have thought, it figures. WHERE F ARE THE UGLY PEOPLE? THE MOVIE IS CALLED UGLIES.
But were they wearing glasses? Did they have their hair pulled back?
We just finished watching “Nobody wants this” starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody. It’s a show about a rabbi (Brody) who falls in love with an unreligious Christian (Bell). (The original title was supposed to be “Shiksas” which I would have found more creative.) The supporting cast is top notch as well: Timothy Simons (I only knew him from “Veep”) and Justine Lupe (Willa in “Succession”) get quite a bit of screen time, too and they have got quite a nice frenemy chemistry going on.
We watched the ten episodes in three sittings and enjoyed it from beginning to end. Please watch this, I want more seasons!
Both Kaos and Scavengers Reign have been canceled. Both I would call top tier shows.

Kaos looked super expensive.

GAAAAAAAAAAAA
I haven't seen anything about Scavengers Reign yet. It's not in a normal position though, since Netflix didn't make it, they just bought it after it had already been cancelled by Max.
Watched the first ep of DandaDan and loved it. Stellar animation, really weird and fun storyline and some really cool, fun, characters. A+ anime.

I expected nothing less from Netflix.
Kaos was excellent. You can practically guarantee it won't get renewed for a second season.
Told you so.
I loved Scavengers Reign but I'm not surprised it was cancelled. I was surprised it even managed to get a first season.
I’m honestly thinking of cancelling just based on Kaos. That is the sort of programme I want and if Netflix aren’t going to provide it then I guess I’m off.

Scavenger's Reign was actually cancelled by HBO/Max, presumably so Netflix wouldn't get the chance. /s

We answered the call. Those ten episodes went down easy. Easily one of the best meet-cutes in a Netflix romcom. I love how the main characters act like believable adults almost the whole time. Me and Ms Brown were very happy to see Netflix had a “Second season confirmed” end title card.

Me and my wife are almost done as well. Loving it so far. Limiting ourselves to one episode a day…
