Man, I wish *I* got to play the 5-8 "4" seed.

I feel so sad.
After a strong comeback, I left like 40 points on my bench to loose the last game before the playoffs.

Whin... er, says the man who single-handedly convinced me to use a divisional format.

Why, so you can get spanked again by 30 points like the last time we played?

ZING!

It took my lowest point total of the season to make you look good.

I realize you're not accustomed to thinking of point totals in the 90s as "low", so you're forgiven.

GWJ FFL Championships won by Leap = 1

GWJ FFL Championships won by Legion = 0

The good ol' patented Raider Fan Argument.

Has a 6th seed ever won a GWJFFL Championship or will my team of replacements be the first? J/K

I'm sorry. I didn't realize I needed to post this but I've had a couple messages...

If you turn to page 18 of the WCOFF rules, you will find the following sentence in the first paragraph: "There will be no free
agent pickups after the completion of the WCOFF regular season." Now I know their regular season ends after 11 weeks and ours goes 14 but the general gist of the rule still applies.

Sorry folks; you gotta dance with the one(s) that brung you.

No biggie. Thanks for the info.

Holy c#@&!!!

On my opponents team...

Kevin Walter - WR Hou
2 REC, 104 REC YDS, 1 REC TD

One for 58yds (the TD) and one for 46.

Good call to put him in.

---

Ryan Grant: What a draft day mistake you have been.

Mr Peterson: Why the heck can't you score TD's?

Mr Colston: UGH! Even in a win, you've let me down AGAIN!

What the hell Hines Ward. And Lynch. Screw you both.

I almost put in Tashard Choice instead, but I'm sure glad I glad I didn't (actually, he only had like 5 fewer points)...Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good

That's been the story of my whole season.

Out in the first round, curses! Running backs let me down again... 5.2 points Brandon Jacobs? Really?

I didn't really expect to do any better though, congrats Blacksheep.

Grant is a perfect example of the "Hot Midseason Replacement".

A guy with fresh legs comes off the bench at midseason, tears it up, and is projected to be The Man the following year. Then, when that next season rolls around and he actually is the full-time starter, his performance falls off.

In San Francisco, they call it "the Kevan Barlow".

Dude: 15 points from the D? Damn. Need 31.5 from Jeff Garcia, DeAngelo Williams, and Antonio Bryant. Should be an interesting game tonight...

Ed Reed (from New Orleans) is a MONSTER! 2 INT's and fumble recovery which he ran for a TD.

Besides...

Someone had to make up for the lackluster performances by Warner, Peterson, Colston, Toomer, and Santana Moss... and Hillis' season ending injury. (I thought Hillis was going to be a FF playoff star for me.)

---

It certainly ain't over... All you need is a few good passes from Garcia to Bryant.

I'll be routing for Carolina's D and Jonathan Stewart tonight.

WOW!!!

You needed 31.5. You got 97.85... from just THREE players.

Jeff Garcia = 24.65

DeAngelo Williams = 32.2

Antonio Bryant = 41 (I *think* this is the first individual 40+ point effort this year.)

NOTE: Those three guys would have beat Jolly's Giants @ 86.25pts by themselves.

Congrats... Good win. You earned it.

Yeah, I was thinking while watching that game that the guy with Garcia and Bryant won't have any problems.

Thanks. Wow, indeed! I only watched the first half and went to bed figuring I was one and done as nobody looked that good in the first half. It looks like I maybe should have stayed up a bit longer

Hope these guys play like that the next two weeks

Have I mentioned lately my hatred of the EA fantasy site?

Is a little playoff bracket really too much to ask for?

Yes, yes it is.

Man Fred taylor going on IR is basically going to leave me with an empty spot.

Just no more healthy extra RBs.

EDIT: Nvm, I guess I can slap a WR in there but capable backups at this point also suck hehe

I lost Frank Gore and Peyton Hillis last week. Plus I lost to Legion so it was just a very painful experience overall. Good thing I'm stacked with mediocrity at the RB position. Lets go Cedric Benson and Kevin Faulk!

I'm in three leagues on three different sites. My favorite of the three is Yahoo!'s.

EA: Cryptic to get around. Kind of clunky. Once you know where the bodies are buried it's serviceable. But there's always some weird thing like no playoff brackets to mess up the experience, for me at least. Plus, I never feel like I'm in a league, I just have a series of opponents. The social aspects (as far as I can tell - there may be something there but the UI is cryptic to me, as I said) are non-existent. Hell, I had to ask here to find out where the league scores were.

Fox: The site layout is OK, but man, whoever wrote this took the bloated slow pill. I can't run this during NFL game time because it will periodically lock my browser up as it begrudgingly brings down the latest update. Just checking scores is a chore. Even getting the damn thing to load is painful. There are a few social touches, but usually I get it set my lineup and get out with no messing around because it is so slow and painful to use. Which is too bad because it looks nice and seems to have a lot of nice features.

Yahoo!: Minimalist but serviceable UI that has a decent layout, but with nice touches here and there like drag and drop lineups and easy way for league owners to comment on each game. Just some nice little social touches that make this stand out. I feel more part of a league in this than the others because the facilities to interact are there.

Anyway, not sure where this came from, but there it is.

In my other league, I'm using Fleaflicker, and it's been absolutely wonderful.

It was missing some features that we use for our leagues here, or else we would've been using it for the GWJ leagues too.

Those features are promised for next year. Fingers crossed.

I've used ESPN in the past and its decent. At least way better than EA.

I've used nfl.com for the last 3 years with no complaints.
