Ahhhh... Taking Back Sunday. Reminds me of college radio and dating girls with liprings.
Anyone hear about the Country Track Pack? I'm kinda disappointed, as at least 3 of the confirmed tracks have already been released as DLC
Kinda ticked me off as well, Anime. I dig the country songs, but the paying twice for them.... not so much.

What's really sad is that if there's enough other tracks I haven't bought, I'll probably still buy it.
It's almost enough to make you sing...Country.

All of the tracks on the country pack will probably come out between now and then. All the other track packs are just made up of DLC, but with an export code if you just want to buy and put it on your system AC/DC style.
Look at that... you got the weekly RB scoop, PLUS post count +1!
So we get The Cranberries and The Zombies, but I want the Cranberries' "Zombie" in Rock Band!
The Zombies “She’s Not There”
The Zombies “Tell Her No”
And something for me!

That's what I was thinking.
The only Ministry I really know is from Psalm 69.

Well, that's one of the songs I don't want in any game. It's super SUPER easy to play on the guitar and really repetitive.
agreed about "Zombie." I love "Linger," though... can't wait.

Yeah, it seems like the Guitar part would be boring, but the drums and vocals would be fantastic (I think).

Me too, I basically just don't want it to be 'just' "Linger". (is this the wrong thread for those pet peeves' people have?)
I like-a the Zombie. Agree that it will probably be a yawnfest for guitar players, even on Expert.
You know what was depressing? Downloading Nirvana's Nevermind and finding that every song is easy-peasy on the guitar.

Then download Ten and have your mind blown.
TV on the Radio! Superneat, although not the song I would've chosen. There are better Coheed songs than the two listed above too.
I wonder how the songs are picked? Does the band suggest them, or their label, or are they picked based on good variation / difficulty amongst all instruments by the coders ('fun factor')?
Not the right place to say this, but whatever. I'm soooooooooo stoked that the Beatles game will use two mics. That's awesome and means I'm one step closer to getting Paradise By the Dashboard Light.

I'm psyched for TV on the Radio, too.
I'm not sure how they pick them, but they're pretty good at it. When RB2 was announced I thought it was weird that they picked "Any Way You Want It" for the Journey song since "Don't Stop Believing" is so much better known. The latter was release later (presumably as an appeasement). Having played both, I have renewed confidence in their ability to choose correctly the first time.

Fun to play comes first.
If any of you drink Pepsi, start looking for the bottles with a yellow cap. I get the caps from people at work and I've entered 6 codes and won 6 times. That's $12 worth of free DLC I've gotten in the last 3 days.
Has Harmonix said anything about doing away with small packs? Seems to me they are releasing a lot more albums and singles. And I gotta say, I don't buy a lot of MP3s because I can either spend 10, 15 bucks for a bunch of songs, or similar cash a la carte for the few I want.
I know a lot of people asked for more albums, but I like more bite sized, and priced fare.
The official Rock Band Community Zine has announced that a new batch of Iron Maiden tracks is headed to the game. The 12 upcoming tracks were all played during the band's recent Somewhere Back in Time World Tour and all are master recordings. The list also includes three live tracks taken from the band's Flight 666 documentary. The tracks -- which have yet to be priced -- will be available on June 9.
This will be the first dlc I've bought for Rock Band all year. Saw the Flight 666 documentary in HD on the Palladia channel last weekend and it was incredible. I can't wait to round up the old gang and play these songs.
Wow, way to get people moving on the Green Day DLC... songs from the new album!
Guh.
Well, they say more to come... I'd appreciate those "other" songs ASAP.

Yeah, seriously. I don't think anybody is waiting with baited breath for the brand new Green Day radio single.
