Creepy spider!

I had a dream that I was the Queen of Spiders and ruled over an empire of spiders. I looked sort of like Kerrigan. It was such an awesome dream.

Then a short fellow with hairy feet blinded you with some kind of light and stabbed you in the belly?

Very interesting video, Ballotechnic!

Tis the fate of all Spider Queens.

I think that is fake... cause the internet... and my big sis used to have a tarantula that was half that size...

I've just finished an assignment on the Goliath Brideater Tarantula (Theraphosa Blondi) with my daughter, and that has a leg span of 28cm, and a body of 11.9cm...

Either way, my f*cking skin is crawling like all kinds of wrong right now...

If it is then it's very good, look at the spider's shadows. That there bug passes my "comfortable speed" threshold. If you're gonna be that big you gotta be slow.

Yeah, as it turns out... not so much.

Leave Mr. Kuddles alone! He's having Friend Time...

I fully understand that there are spiders that big that move that fast.... Something just looks off... the shadow thing though... I doubt random gif making dude would go that far.

The article title says it all. This is why we left in the first place!

She's at least a good sport about it.

ETA: It's interesting. That first video apparently went viral back in the day. And then when Kristi Gordon (the meteorologist depicted), now apparently with more attention on her, became pregnant, she received loads of hatemail for her choices of maternitywear. I mean. What the.

So she then reads some on air (haven't found a video of it) and goes on to publicize her work against shape-shaming.

Pretty neat progression of things, minus the jerks.

Have we seen this before? A 94 page thread makes it hard to remember.

What Makes Spiders Scary

Australia was a mistake.

Closely related to the black widow spider, redbacks are distinguished by their namesake trait: a long, red stripe on the abdomen.

On the what now?

And to think, I've never even heard of a Penis Spider before now.

The answer to the question you are thinking is 'yes.'

Spoiler:

This is Australia, isn't it?

I think I've seen that card in Eldritch Horror.

Is its master plan to call dibs on the broom so you can't kill it with the broom?

No doubt about it, that is a large spider. But... its size is exaggerated by perspective in those pictures. Either that or that person has a very tiny left arm.

That thing is f*ing nuts. It doesn't look real, it's so big.

In another universe, I imagine that these are the kind of plush toys that Lovecraftian monsters give to their eldritch spawn.
