I've played 1 bot game with the Space Marines and 1 with the Orks. So, very little MP experience. None, basically. But, I'm down to play MP.

Did anybody else have problems with vent there near the end? At one point and I looked and my ping to the server was over 2700. I took at as a sign.

*Also, I think the only reason I can halfway play this game is just because the Space Marines are solid analogs for basically everything in Company of Heroes... which between CoH, it's expansions, and CoH2 I probably have 400 hours in at this point.
I might be able to figure out the IG. The Russians in CoH2 seem like just less exaggerated Imperial Guard anyway, at least from a gameplay perspective.

Awesome turnout! That was a blast. I need to do some work to learn the units, upgrades, spells, etc. Tomorrow will be tough for me. I'll be on throughout the rest of the week. If you see me on, definitely hit me up.
Anyone know of any good resources for learning the multiplayer game? I've looked at the DoW wiki and such. Any good you tube videos or anything that you guys recommend?
We are pretty terrible, but I had a great time! The most fearsome result my Chaos Sorcerer was able to produce in the last game was a mild tickle on a few Space Marines. So yeah, back to the drawing board on that one.

There were two Natuses in chat for some odd reason. I think my doppleganger actually played better than I did.

Wow. You totally tore apart my Tyranids...I spent most of the game repairing broken units or recruiting new ones. You defended your points really well with overlapping fields of fire, and made it very costly for me to take anything. Ripping up the Ogryn at the end of the game was just spite on my part.

I see that happen to me when Vent crashes and I have to rejoin a room. I didn't really have any network problems except when Toph lagged a little bit. I liked playing 3v3 because it minimized the impact of my terrible-ness to my team.

Nothing minimized my terribleness. Occasionally I play with Fedora in League of Legends, and he is well-used to being left high and dry by me in that game as well.
I think oily's plan for 2v2's or just comp stomps tonight is probably a good idea.

Comp stomps are... well they're certainly stomps on everything but Expert, and even then it shows up with bunches of units that it doesn't seem like it should be able to afford but then sort of flails around and I guess doesn't know what it should do with them?

So apparently GFWL was remove3d from DoW 2 and Chaos Rising on May 29, 2014.
I cannot wait to put them back on my hdd as permanent fixtures!
