"The "Sex-Box" Race for President" By Kevin McCullough

Linky

I know I don't post over here all too often, but I read this article this morning, and wanted to know what you guys would think (other than the fact that the guy is seriously wacko). I've tried to find any information about graphic sex scenes and abilities he describes in Mass Effect, and can't find a damn thing, other than a video that's so safe to view I didn't have a problem watching it here at work.

It's pretty clear he's never played the game, and is misinformed at best. If he were writing something similar about an individual, I'd call it libel.

I've been developing a theory that these guys just make up a bunch of stuff to get a reaction and their 15 minutes of fame. Jack Thompson clearly wants more lawyer work out of this verbal tirades, but I don't get this guy's goal unless it's infamy. Or maybe Jack's spot on mainstream TV news when they need a reactionary pundit.

I briefly toyed with the idea of a libel type law to stop people just outright lying about the content of a piece of art, but I quickly realised that additional lawyers is not a solution to anything, with the possible exception of a target shortage on a shooting range.

Bah. You got me (with the cough, not with the second link).

Amateur... Never give warning in your URL.

I thought that was considered fair play, while masking the URL was considered dirty.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Use of the Kitty Cat dance is *always* dirty, and that's why it's so much fun to catch people with.

Ha! Suck it, Robear!

I admire your boldness, Quintin. You won't catch me as easily, but you've entered the ranks of the Kitty Cat Dancers.

No, masking the URL is considered clever.

I'm certainly no authority but I'm of the "masking the URL" is cheating school. I guess there's only one way to solve this. A poll!
