Bonds May Sue Schilling for Defamation

Uh, yeah, way to keep it low key...

Im glad you aren't trying to shake your asshole reputation.

Not that he shouldn't address the issue with Schilling. But, uh, there are better ways to handle it. Like, I dont know, correcting Schilling and demanding a public apology...

He's well within his rights to do that given what Schilling said, but I agree he's going about it the wrong way, but that's par for the course with Barry Lamar Bonds.

Just think if all of the sports commentators and reporters get hit with it. Would writers get hit with slander or libel (sic)?

I'm not a lawyer but I believe that if Bonds were to initiate a suit against Schilling it would open himself up to all sorts of potential investigations.

It's pretty difficult to prove defamation if the accusations are true

Not really, since even if Game of Shadows and the grand jury testimony is true, then what Schilling specifically said would still be wrong.
