Tour de France < Blood Doping

Well, it was bound to happen. This time, the leader was taken out before he finished the race.

When I saw this on the New York Times front page about the winner:

Alberto Contador, a 24-year-old rider with the Discovery Channel team, entered the race as a long-shot contender.

my first thought was that he's probably one of the few guys that isn't doped up and that everyone better was like, "Hey, maybe this isn't a good time for me to win this race, given that they are going to put my blood through a fine-tooth blood comb."
