man these sound like they would make really interesting games/reading. And given the amount of thought that goes into some of the current game worlds/premises bing peddled about, these would be a huge step up for internal consistency.

My personal favourite so far

Duh there's a pattern. It's a javascript text masher with a really good database. I love these things.

Premise: Adjective noun verb adjective object-noun absurd prepositional phrase
Genre: Slash together two or three from a list

If you like this one, you should check out Seventh Sanctum. They've got all sorts of cool ones.

I built one once that generated random foriegn names for people by scraping foriegn online telephone directories and the IMDB credits lists from foriegn films. Japanese ones are pretty common, but I had like Dutch and a few Bantu/Swahili. The biggest flaw mine had was I had no idea of the gender of the individual name generated.
