AWWWW!

The town of Carcassonne is being attacked by a giant kitty!!!

I can only imagine the gut-wrenching horror of seeing a 500-foot version of your own cat. Remember kids. If your cat finds you shrunken to an inch high, it's gonna eat you.

FTFY

Here's my little kitty. He died a year and a half ago, we had to euthanize him a day before our wedding anniversary. He had been battling lymphoma for a month, he was 13 years old. Still miss him so much.

Sorry, guys, don't mean to be such a downer, just posting because he was such an adorable cutie!! This thread is just so full of adorable fluff, it warms my heart!

This is what happens you remove your desk toys for moving. A cat takes over the empty space with her big fat ass.

My wife still loves her though.

My dog Odin all dressed up for the holidays.

Getting a young lab to sit still even that long was a bit of work.

Wow, Plavonica!! He's absolutely gorgeous!!! So well behaved!!! My cat wouldn't have allowed that at all. Odin's so cuuuute, but I'm willing to believe it took a bit of coaxing. Kudos to you both!

Eyes fixed on off-camera treat.

Our latest addition, Jewel, has been with us almost a week now. We picked her up at a rescue event last Sunday where we'd actually gone to look for a pair of kittens.

It has been about 15 years since we had a cat, and a week of lousy sleep because the cat wants to play at all hours is reminding me why.

That's why you get 2 cats. They will play with each other in the middle of the night instead of you.

That's what I keep telling the husband, but he won't believe me. I really want to get two cats, I figure they can play together, but he won't take my word for it, says it'll be too much trouble.

This person speaks the truthest truth.

EDIT: Keep the collar, lose that little bell. She'll be quieter.

They also clean each other. Besides it being ridiculously cute when our cats "kiss" and clean each other's faces , they really do stay clean and very rarely ever need a real water bath.

Well, as stated we'd intended to get a pair of kittens so there was cat company. Adopting an adult slowed the plan a bit because my Lab is very cat-aggressive. I knew that a pair of tiny kittens would be a fairly easy introduction because they wouldn't run like an adult cat will and trigger his chase instinct, but adults usually do and watching (keeping alive) 2 of them at once would likely have been a nightmare.

As things stand this morning, the Lab and the cat are doing fine together. Basically that means the Lab is more or less ignoring the cat. The Bloodhound, on the other hand, won't leave the cat alone. The saving grace there is that the Bloodhound is a huge pansy and the cat has her totally intimidated just by hissing and swatting.

The bell collar does come off at night, but that's only a minor help when the cat is walking across my face.

He is definitely a lab, highly food motivated.

Cool.

My girlfriend and I are getting a Corgi. We're going to name her Chava (the Hebrew name that became Eve in english translations). This is her at 4 weeks old. We get her the 3rd of March.
