This was not Lasher's finest hour but damn! It was sure tasty.

They don't drool. Thank god cause I have all hardwood floors

Gobo likes him-colored food.

Our puppy Stark: a half French Bulldog, half Boston Terrier:

Also there's a video of him shamelessly trying to get to second base with my wife.

Great vid twelve! It looks like right at the end when you said "say bye", Stark grabbed on to try not to fall and might have startled you some

Nothing fancy in the video, he's just getting petted.

The pics are from before he started radiation and chemotherapy for cancer a couple of years ago. He lost almost all of the fur from his chin since then.

That cat must be on Spice!

Mal is hacking my iPad!

Max's kidney values haven't improved since I brought him to the vet a couple of days ago. It's likely kidney cancer. I'll be bringing him home shortly, and then the vet is coming by tonight.

Here he is at home after having his tummy shaved for a kidney ultrasound a few months back:

He was always on my lap. Or chest. Or side, or back, depending on how I was sitting or laying around. I had a friend of mine take some pics of him a couple years ago before he had radiation and chemo.

He would sometimes make a mess on his bottom if he had an upset stomach. I'd wash his bottom, and then he'd think there was something on his tail, and stalk it:

Two years ago, he was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in his lower jaw. It had turned his jawbone into swiss cheese, so they couldn't operate on it. I agonized over what to do. The one-year survival rate with treatment is 10%. I had one of the best veterinary oncologists in the country though, so I said to go for it. In the end, he had 21 days of radiation, and 4 IV chemo treatments. The vets said there was a chance he'd stop eating, but he never did. Every day after his treatments he would come home and curl up with me. He had two more surgeries to remove necrotic tissue from the radiation, and handled it like a champ. None of the vets ever expected him to make it this long, and do so well. All the vets and techs and nurses adored him, he was always so docile, even when being poked and prodded and stuck with needles. The local paper did an article on his oncologist a couple of years ago, and he's holding Max up in the picture: http://www.vshcarolinas.com/uploads/Dr.%20Ruslander:Client%20Letter.pdf

The markings on that Bengal are awesome, Bonnonon.

@deftly: Max sounds like a champ. I hope that things will improve for him.

Sorry about Max, Deftly. We lost one cat to a jaw tumor and another to kidney/heart problems.

Thanks, but today is Max's last. Things will improve, because he won't be suffering anymore.

Aw man. Sorry deftly.

I'm sorry, deftly. He looks like a sweet boy.

Aww, sorry Deftly. Max has been lucky to have you looking out for him.

Bad lack, deftly.

Deftly - what a great friend you had to share your life with! My condolences to you.

Stella, being way too happy at being able to lie in the sun

Our little rascal Focker after a summer hair cut. Normally he is so furry you can just make out a face and a tail.
