Setting up a network and need some help

Ok, I'm setting up a network and I'm having some issues. I have a linksys wireless access point router and a SMC IP Sharer + Print Server. I'm trying to set it up so that she can have a wireless network and the print server so she doesn't have to continue to have her printer hooked up to her laptop.

I have the cable internet hooked up the the linksys router, and on the uplink option (4 connection) I have that plugged into the first input for the SMC IP Sharer.

Is this set up correctly? Oh, and everything is in chinese and far more than I can read.

Thanks!

Last things first, so you can't read any of the menus of the devices (on the embedded webpages) because they're in Chinese? Or her PC is in Chinese?

If it's the PC, bring your laptop if possible or change the language if possible. If it's the switches... well I've never ran into that before.

Can you get to the webpage of the linksys router from her laptop? First you should try it wired and then wireless. The address should be 192.168.1.1 or something similar (you can download the manual from their site if you don't have one) the SMC may have an embedded page as well. What exactly are your 'issues'? Do you get an ip address from the router (if using DHCP) or can you even reach the router? Also when first setting this up I recommend doing it wired and start from the router and work your way out so:
Set up the laptop directly wired into the router - Does this work?
Once that works, hook in the SMC and then hook the laptop to it via a network cable - does this work?
Now configure the wireless settings on the router and test those on the laptop until it works.

Next set up the printer.

Keep in mind the SMC and Linksys may default to different networks (where linksys is 192.168.1.X the SMC could be 192.168.100.x or 10.1.1.x or so on, you'll need to change one of them so they match (make the router x.x.x.1 and the SMC x.x.x.2 - be sure the DHCP server on the router doesn't give out x.x.x.2 (I'd make the printer x.x.x.3 and also keep the dhcp server from handing that out))

That should be the right configuration, basically the uplink port is used so you can use a straight through cable but keep in mind you usually can't use the port next to the uplink port when it's in use because they're shared.
