Things to avoid with your 360

I can think of a few things.

1) Rest your power brick on the carpet - overheating and shutdown, scorching possible.
2) Move the 360 while it's on with a disc in the drive - you could horribly scratch your disc.
3) Play Call of Duty 2's single player campaign without patching it via Xbox Live - you could lose all your saves.

Are there are any more that I'm forgetting?

4) Spend huge amounts of money on a 360, get all the problems above because of the first gen issues and than find out there are 2 maybe 3 games you actually think are worth the money.

Couldn't resist. (I'll admit it, sour grapes over here. If I could afford it I would also have one.)

This is curious, Yoyo, how hot does the power brick get? It has to be pretty darn hot to be able to scorch your carpet.

I cannot imagine leaving something that hot out in the open being safe, esp. if there are kids around.

I have mine on the same table the 360 is on and it never rises above slightly warm.

The air coming out of the back of my 360 on the other hand could definately be considered "hot". But disks and the top of the 360 (horizontal) are usually just "warm"

I hear you can get one for free if you start your own gaming radio show.

Only if it's any good. Lousy radio show hosts get PSPs. It's in the contract.

sh*t I'd take a psp in a heart beat.
