Post a picture, entertain me!

Not obscure for those of us not too far from boomerhood ourselves!

Cesium-133, let it be. Cesium-134, let it be even more.

Yesterday I went for a road trip with my dog to the Tucson Mountain Park. I was hoping to catch some desert flowers after our recent 3 days of rain, but no such luck. There were a few flowers, but mostly just Saguaro and Cholla. Took these pictures at a trailhead off Gates Pass.

(I linked to the gallery because I couldn't figure out how to get smaller images from my post. The usual suffix trick didn't work for some reason.)

Next time I visit there I'll try to capture the panoramic view of Tucson going down the other side of Gates Pass. The sprawl is insane looking.

Also the name of my Scorpions cover band. I think Wind of Change could end the war if done well enough.

Sure. (Eliminates answers B and C)

Answer is C. Answering randomly, he has a 50% chance of selecting either B or D, which are the correct odds (1 in 4, or 25%) of selecting the right answer to this specific question. But he is not supposed to answer randomly, he is supposed to provide the correct answer.

I disagree. One answer is 0%, which can't be right. That means there are 3 possible correct answers, or a 33.3% chance of being correct. But the only remaining choices are 25%, and 50%. That means there is a 0% of chance of picking the correct fraction (1 in 3), so B is the answer.

My reading is that basically that 0% changed the odds.

So, you're saying if you pick randomly the correct answer is A or D, but when you chose a specific answer the correct one is C. How does that work? If I say C, how does the question know if I chose that randomly or not?

This statement is false.

I disagree. One answer is 0%, which can't be right.

That's not what random means though.

You're all wrong; he should pick an answer and then switch when Regis reveals that one of the other answers is a goat, giving him a 66% chance of getting it right.

.... What were we talking about again?
