Post a picture, entertain me!

Teams does not, in fact, work great.

So is Powerpoint particularly ass, or have people just been subjected to too many bad presentations?

I'm rather fond of my weird corner-case use of Keynote (Apple's presentation software) but now that I stop and think about it, I realize that doesn't actually give me any kind of useful impression of Powerpoint as a piece of software...

How DARE you impugn the good work I did at Microsoft 25 years ago, none of which is probably left in the code by now but any excuse to feign dishonor!

You know what you did. I now know who to hold at least partially responsible for decades' worth of people reading slides to me. May PowerPoint die in the hottest fires of IT hell now and forever.

Does for what I need. Granted, I'm using it as calls, chat, quick file sharing, easy ways to handle SharePoint lists, and shared file storage, but I suspect my organizational policies may hide things, as let's just say the state of Minnesota's lawyers are very insistent on things being auto-deleted out of Teams chats very quickly so any normal retention issues don't matter for me.

Hard to blame PP for that. It was happening long before computers were a thing.

I wouldn't use Edge for personal use, but it is my work browser because of the vertical tabs. Sadly they recently nerfed my second favorite feature - individual entries in alt-tab for each browser tab.

TBH, I find Teams WAY more useful than either Edge or Powerpoint :P

So say we all.

Actually, I kinda like Teams, but that's probably only because my company switched to it from Skype.

Sadly, we still have to attend Skype meetings with our corporate customer.

We also tend to have Zoom meetings with our government customer, and sometimes with our corporate HQ (although those tend to be listen-only meetings).

I've also found the integrated copilot extremely handy when reading material that has terms or concepts I'm unfamiliar with.

I have a feeling your experience with Teams varies greatly depending on whether you are on Windows, or, like me, are using the Mac version, which somehow noticeably taxes my entire system more than compiling does, and also crashes about 50% of the time when being launched from a call in an Outlook calendar entry.

I feel like this image is fundamentally flawed and all the forks should look like the teams fork. This would then completely invalidate the message of the image.

It's all those microplastics keeping the next generations young.

I had a version of that as a kid in the 70s. On an overhead projector transparency sheet. My Dad was a technical draftsman, and this was considered high comedy.

Admittedly, it is pretty funny if you're high.

Reminds me of this:

That one actually took me a moment to get.

I still don't get it...
