CA is nuts! There are many places where you can surf and then ski within an hours drive. (with urban high rises in between)
Nescafe Blend 43 jar is actually Australian for gun.
It was a 43 Calibur.

I'm calling shenanigans. There's an Edge icon both in the window and in the desktop background. According to wikipedia it wasn't available until 2015.
EDIT... unless I'm just entirely missing the joke here, that is.

I interpreted this as Windows 11 in the style of Windows 2000 because that's a thing people kept trying to make all new Windows versions look like. Officially was Windows 7 the last version that had this style as an option?
Futurama as a dark 80s movie!

There are some nice details in here. The Edge icon is appropriately styled as are the Office icons. The Xbox icon is old school too. WinRAR is installed. And even the Excel doc has the old file extension.
A couple of questions...
1. How did David Copperfield get Paul McCartney money?
2. Who is Jami Gertz?

Had to look up Copperfield cause you got me curious. Looks like it really does mostly come from his magic show. 50 million a year for just tickets and he owns all the merchandising rights too. For 13 years. Then a bunch of tv show stuff and other things. And no manager or corp that he splits it with. I'm guessing this list includes properties and other stuff. Cause apparently he owns a bunch of private islands...

I knew Jami Gertz as an actress but had no idea how she had so much money. The simple answer is she married a billionaire.
A perusal of her Wikipedia page suggests that Jami Gertz did not earn the lion's share of her wealth from her role in "Twister." Rather, she and her business executive husband have been successful investors. In 2010, she was named the celebrity who gave the most money to charity.
She isn't today but once she inherits from her father, Julia Louis-Dreyfus will apparently be worth billions.
I remember really enjoying this movie as a kid. Watching it on VHS after it was recorded off TV.
Man, I feel really old.

Yeah, as a kid I always wondered about the Korean landscape. Why was it the way it was? Helicopters with wounded just showed up in the MASH valley. Why didn't we get to see Korean culture? Oh, I guess there are some "asian" characters that show up in camp. But like... where the [email protected]#$ are they?
So many films and TV shows were shot in that area. I grew up right in the heart of Lake Sherwood, Malibu Canyon, Simi Valley, etc.
They even shut down a nearby street to film an episode of Highway to Heaven.
Love otters. So fun to watch
You say favorite rocks.
I say otters are giving themselves breast implants.
I only say this as an excuse to haul out my favorite dad joke:
How do you titillate an ocelot?
You oscillate it's tits a lot
