Lmao. The CPU compartment just big enough for the computer. Looks familiar.

That little shelf under the monitor is a deal-breaker; can't fully stretch out your legs.

How to ruin Halloween, and send your kid to therapy as an adult, in one bad dad joke.

I saw someone on twitter post this with the comment "we have a new winner for best 6-word story."

Funny, as soon as I saw this image it also reminded me of the six-word story ("For sale: baby shoes, never worn").

Now that I have a baby of my own that story is a lot less sad. They grow quick, and if they're like mine and want to be barefoot all the time then it's likely the shoes were just outgrown.

My relatives loved to gift us clothing and shoes that were already too small. We donated nearly all old or small clothes back to other families so it all should have had some use eventually.

Yeah, we got a bunch of baby clothes for our first kid that she outgrew while still in the womb.

Some of those books on the bottom got confused, it's "banned" books not "band" books.

How did the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe get banned? They didn't recognize their lion Jesus?

Gabe pressing the button to launch The Orange Box, 15 years ago.

The Orange Box was like an inflection point for this community. So many people, including myself, came on board because of TF2. I now have friendships that are roughly that old, including real-life friendships. And we lost some of those people along the way. That's an important button push to me.

I ended up here while doing research on my masther thesis, on the ludonarrative dissonance in videogames. Use case: Half-Life 2. Thanks Lobo!

Yeah, JaSeR recruited me to GWJ basically on the premise of "cool folks playing TF2 regularly". Thank you JaSeR, and thanks to everyone else here who has put up with me over the years.

To me it was also the real beginning of steam. It was hard to justify not using it when you got three amazing games.

Rest is history.

Unfortunately that is pretty much where Valve as a game developer ended.

C'mon! Half-Life: Alyx is superb.

That's the VR one? Don't have VR so I never played it.

Still waiting for Half-Life 2 Episode 3....

I mean... No spoilers but HL: Alyx is basically Episode 3, and the next sequel in the series.

Felt that way by the end

It's very good and this is very true. VR is going to get cheaper as time goes on. And if the rumors that it'll be coming for PSVR are true then I'm hoping more folks will play it.
