Guy searches for interesting things on Google Earth

"It looks like an abstract painting. My first thought was a huge archeological excavation site. Turns out that was wrong. These pits are used in a very old fashioned salt extraction operation."

"A very sinuous river. This is a good illustration of how oxbow lakes form. In the middle of the image you can see where a meander loop is being actively cut off."

"I couldn't find anything about this strange place. It's a huge, planned settlement near Namibe, Angola. It seems to have been constructed around 2013-2014. It also appears to be uninhabited due to no vehicles. Does anyone know anything about this place."

Are we on a "lets trigger everyone's fear of heights" kick this week?

Hehe... I am deathly afraid of heights, and I even sometimes feel vertigo playing video games, but I love pictures like that. Like the ones that crazy people take while climbing high rise structures.

Oh, that's 1881 Escher Place.

How fast are people coming up the bottom right stairs that a full armco guard rail is required?

What? That's clearly the rail for the automated chair up those particular stairs.

Neat Google Earth Stuff.

I used to work with a guy who was ex Army Intelligence. It was his job to examine aerial photos for potential targets during the Iraq war. He could point out a lot of interesting things from aerial photos.

I come not to bring peace, but the balloons.

Probably not their intention

Spoiler:

probably

That's so legal tender.

But... MasterCard, Discover and Visa aren't legal tender/currency. They're accepted as payments due to various contractual agreements but them not being legal tender is the reason there needs to be a sign there in the first place. [/pendant]

Pedant

It was just a pun. I wasn't hurting anybody. *sniff*
