Post a picture, entertain me!

rectangle, kite, the shetlands. . . That made me laugh so hard. Almost coughed up my candy corn.

I like that "Why do you have so many states?" question. Probably because we have ten times the population and don't (yet) have a giant freaking desert in the center of our landmass.

I agree the east coast state are a bit silly though. I mean, New Jersey gets two senators? Really? Alrighty then.

Every state gets two senators...

Yes, I intended that statement to mock the fact that New Jersey is even a state. Because it's so small. I suppose that didn't come across correctly.

NJ is pretty damned large compared to Delaware, or Rhode Island

Eh, I'm a born and raised west coast American. I kinda feel like all of New England should just be fused together until it makes one correctly-sized state.

Great. Now I am reading everything with an Australian accent in my head. Even this post! Damn!

I hope you are not counting NJ in New England.

I'm with you 100%. The fact that I can drive for four hours and hit five states is dumb. Back west crossing a state line meant something, you were traveling! Out east you'll miss the sign if you're not careful.

we've entered P/C territory.

There's no controversy. People from the west coast are just wrong. I'm pretty sure in their heart of hearts they're aware of it.

Don't mess w/ lil' Rhody. We get surly.

Also there's a lot of us crammed together in a tiny space. We get riled easily.

EDIT TO ADD:
These are images that pop up when you do a google image search for "Rhode Island population density"

None of these are from RI, thanks wikipedia

That is one damn good cup of spice.

We do, too, have a big desert in the middle of the US.

Look, Kansas may be a cultural, educational, philosophical, economic, culinary, and geographic wasteland, but I don't think calling it a desert is entirely fair.

You're both wrong.

The U.S.'s desert is only the western half, not in the middle.

Austrailia, on the other hand, is a desert. :p

Man, why would you say such cruel things about Kansas? They're a great band! So what if they can't cook?

You asked for it!

I've seen a similar series before and it's missing the one where you can fit a hojillion cyclists in the same space you can fit a dozen cars.

It's also missing "that one guy".

West coasters are largely trying to hide the fact that they can't reliably identify any geographical feature east of Idaho.
