Post a picture, entertain me!

The 'Lady Bane' picture. I've not seen the latest Batman film, so does her costume fit with the character? Not just what he looks like, but how he acts. Because I think that there's good cosplay from a technical perspective - detail on costume etc. - and then good cosplay from a 'spiritual' one; cogent with the character, suitable for the theme and so on.

Goya really was ahead of his time.

Also commonly referred to as the East-Asian Hag-Gene.

Some people just age slowly altogether. I have patients who I'd swear were 50 when they were really 90. They'd complain about how they used to be able to haul sacks of rice all day. Now it's all they can do to do it for a few hours.

I suspect that they don't really die. They just tire of life here and relocate to Numenor.

This is true. My dad is like 63 but he doesn't look a day over 45. This makes me happy considering I have half of his genes.

Ditto - back when I was in highschool, more than once someone mistook him for my older brother. Course when he takes off his hat, it's a bit more obvious.

Did we have this already?

Very creative.

And now I want to watch WallE again.

I'll confess, it made my eyebrows rise.

Basic Instructions is always consistently good, but this one tickled the hell out of me:

Looks like a CG hallway with the lights the way they are. The ceiling circle and the envelope on the wall.

It always boggles my mind why they redesigned the SNES for the European market...

These images should get posted whenever people complain about gaming being too expensive now.

Looks like the Japanese one to me.

They didn't redesign it. We got the Japanese version, as Rykin spotted. Americans got the ugly box.

To be honest, if someone opened up a suitcase containing both consoles and told me that there was a winning 100 million dollar lottery ticket hidden under the ugly one, I would be at a total loss to guess which one to look under. They are both pretty damn hideous.

Plus those were 1996 dollars.

$70 game in 1996 = $99.05 in 2011. $100 games? Yikes.
