Post a picture, entertain me!

Have to disagree. They would be the coolest parents ever if they had dressed the kid up as Nightwing instead of lame ass Robin.

Coolest. Parents. Ever.

And no, I'm not joking.

I'm just not sure who the dog is supposed to be dressed up as...

In retrospect, the dog obviously should have been the Joker.

Why so sirius?

That's quite accurate.

I'm glad that box was labeled "scratch post". The picture doesn't look like one.

Looks like a Cat in the Hat hat.

Tell me about it, so far out of the cat toys I've purchased/made her favorites are:

cotton balls
a rolled up sock
a laser pointer

Make sure she doesn't point it at any airplanes.

Many more here.

That looks like Oregon!

I can see my apartment in the first pic.

I didn't even notice that one. I'll bet the forest one actually is from somewhere in Oregon.

I think Clock was going more for 'butt plug'

First Issue:

Final Issue:

So it only took them 300 issues (give or take) to get the colors of Mario's outfit right? That has to be the longest proofing cycle ever

Looks like every video I ever saw in Real format circa 2001.

Fear and Loathing? I think I had this version!

I really like the original animated images.

That comic makes me think of the classes I taught today... in good and bad ways. D:

Narcissistic indeed.

Am I the only one who started reading that expecting it to end with a joke about how some awards are totally useless and send the wrong message, like getting an A in a spelling bee?

Spelling bees award letter grades?

Ugh that comic makes me think of my primary school education and all the bullsh*t awards and prizes they gave out. First place during super kids day (just like everyone else), bs awards at science fairs, and from what I hear from my mom (who works high schoolers): diplomas that are basically awarded for showing up and not killing anyone (she works with a semi-rough group).

With the rough group you are allowed a single kill?

In eighth grade, I got an award for being "best groomed", whatever that meant. My prize was a comb. It was a weird day.

So you are a dog then?

This sums up exactly why I hate achievements and believe them to be the downfall of society.

Rewarding behaviour which should be standard performance is a problem. The Overjustification Principle. It basically undermines the desire to do work.

To me, it also sets the bar height for exceptional achievement. Human nature is to only work as hard as you have to. It's an exceptional few who can set their "have to" on their own. Or perhaps an exceptional few who can set that "have to" close to their true potential.

Top, the Jonas Brothers meet the President.
Bottom, Justin Bieber meets the Canadian PM.
See if you can spot the differences
