Granted, it's only 7:37am here, but that's the most disturbing thing I've seen all day.

I don't grok the right sock.

Here's another view of the socks. The down shark has swallowed you, all but the toes.

They also come with a pattern for teeny remoras that you attach with velcro.

And the up shark is embellished with a blood drop (bead) at the corner of its jaw:

That's likely the best thing I'll see all day. Well done!

As I read this last one I think to myself "But why, if they all flow to the object 'cookie' are they flowing to separate objects? Perhaps I make too many flow charts for work.

Does the path that leads to a cookie, and thus the mental state of the cookie eater, make the cookie a fundamentally different experience?

Perhaps I need to hurry up and finish this MA work. "Quantum poetics" is my phrase of the week.

Only one lady and it's Marie Curie? They're not even trying. :/

Gimme a Rosalind Franklin or Hypatia or an Ada Lovelace, at least. Give the opportunity to educate. Boo.

How about the woman of science who already has the action hero name, Annie Jump Cannon?

Need I say more?

Waiting for the Obama/Sasha Grey pic.

Cookies are never, ever, ever singletons.

Pretty sure that's part of the UML spec.

I have an old TV similar to the one pictured above. A friend of mine wanted to turn it into a fish tank but his roommates didn't want that look, instead they bough a completely plain tank.

What about one of these:

I like it.

Not quite a full aquarium (fish wouldn't survive in mineral oil), but still gets the same effect, I think.

Yep read those when I did my own Good Reads review of it. That might be tied with On the Origin of the Species for worst reviews.

Reset button: wait for three minutes.

Also, this is amazing.

This is really a T&H thing, but it's not worth starting a thread. However, it's alive!

?

Did you make a Hackintosh Liquid?

I did indeed. Still need to get the video hardware acceleration going and come up with a USB wifi adapter though. I just installed Ubuntu back to it though and now I'll have to figure out how to iron out bootloader issues.

Welcome to the fold Liquid

The guy on the right looks familiar but I can't quite place him. No idea who the girl on the left is.

Definitely not Snake Plissken - I heard he was dead!

I think she is Lisa from Weird Science
