Man, you keep sending me to google's translation tools, and this word won't even translate.
The parts I'm most interested in are your tuning settings themselves. Things like the stress bars and suspension adjustments.
The gearing is less important, but I wouldn't mind knowing that too ;)
Will do, I'll post the whole shebang ASAP. Never considered myself a good tuner -- I know jack-all about cars, really, aside from "hey, that thangs got 700 horsepower which means it can run over 700 horse corpses before stalling out" -- so it's kind of funny that I came up with the "magic combination".
You know...this talk of CF's setup gives me an idea:
I know folks are probably tired of running that track/car, but what if we do 2 challenges per car/track:
1. First Challenge: Free-Tune (to a maximum of a certain class). This is what we just did.
2. Second Challenge: Everyone tunes to the winner's setup (Maybe change tracks to prevent from going crazy).
One of the things that I like about this site is we're all honest enough to make #2 actually work:)
What do you think?

RE: #2. If we're going to equalize the cars, I'd rather we just say "every one go buy/get a stock and see what the best time you can get without any tweaks."
Yeah, I am with grump. We should just do a stock race at some point. However, having two challenges per week may not be a terrrible idea.
Well, if we are gonna post the new challenges on Wednesday then I think that Tuesday at midnight is a fine deadline.
And maybe the winner could be the one setting up the next challenge?
Or not. Just an idea...
Cool stuff. Good job Sanj.
Hrmm i already have a time with a B1 civic on that track.
After spending so much time in the Elise, the CRX sucks ballsack no matter how much work you do to it.
No, I checked. There weren't any CRXes listed on the scoreboard. You might have a time with a Civic, but not a Civic CRX.
Am i forgetting something or doesn't it only show your best times not best by car?
Yeah I think Tenchid has a point here.
I thought it just took your best time for the track... period. So if you run the track with an "S" class vehicle, for example, there's no way any time for a B1 Civic would ever show up but... 1) I may be wrong and 2) a CRX will probably post a quicker time than what Tenchid already has anyway.
Edit: Bah, you guys are too fast... but I guess week 1 already proved that.
Just FYI guys, I beat all but one of the car club listed times on my first attempt. It shouldn't be too hard. The only person who might have trouble is NSRRacing, because he has a pretty good time on the track with the Wings West Civic.
*edit*
Um, nevermind. Just cut five seconds off my time with nothing but gearing and tire pressure changes.
So yeah, nobody should have any trouble moving past their already posted times.
It is definitely tough comparing the CRX and the Elise. One being rear wheel mid-engine and the other front-wheel front-engine. However, the CRX is cool, so you really have to take that into consideration when making those blanket statements, Cabbot.
Thin_J did you abide by the amended rules that Sanjuro implied? Primarily that you have to play with the controller upside-down? No, not everyone just you.

I was under the impression that rule only applied to the person who won the last challenge.
Better get practicing on your upside-down controller skills CF
Nice Job Sanjuro. Shoot, I was right next to Sanj' Monday night, but didn't make it last night and got dropped 2 places(!). I knew I should of gotten into to the :30's. Now I'm afraid my CRX is too beefed up for this run. I'm eager to get home to take a look and see if I need to what, buy another, or tear it down some. (can you own two of the same car, but beefed up differently?)

I think it list best times by 'Class' on a particular track, which would envolve the car's within that range. No?
Well.. Tenchid has started off the first day with a ridiculous time. Not sure how yet, but I'm damn well trying.
Heh..can't wait to try the CRX. By the way, guys...this is some of the best fun I've had with the Xbox. My wife looks at me like I'm nuts when I tell her that I need to try "one more race".:)
Oh...CF: Please don't forget to post your Lotus setup....I'm really interested to see if I'm really that bad of a driver:)
Thanks!

lol. I kept restarting the race on any screwups till i got a perfect run. Anyway i'm sure i could improve the time even more if i was any good with tuning.

I don't know if you can save different upgrade setups, but it seems like you can save different tuning configurations. You can also put back other parts that you had upgraded. For instance, if you had installed a clubsport muffler, you can replace it with the old stock muffler.

O.k. Thanks Poppin'. Good to know. Once I get home and can get on I'll see if it's necessary or not. But still, good to know.
