So true.

$50 for an epic mount? I''d do it. In a heartbeat.

Prices I''ve seen are more like $375 for 900 gold.

You hear a lot about gold farmers, but has anyone actually seen one? Do they really exist? I guess those gold sellers must be getting it someway. I wonder if it''s macroing (gold farming) or somekind of gold dupe bug - or something else.

Heh - love that. I can''t believe Blizzard hasn''t shut these guys down, seeing as how it''s not tough to figure out that someone who:
a) Is level 55 but strictly hunts lvl 41 goblins in one specific area,
b) Has an oddly specific name (""Appleboy"", ""Wowboy""),
c) Is on WoW literally 24/7,
d) Responds to inquiries in an Asian language (if at all), and
e) Warps madly all over the place due to the dial-up lag that inevitably results when a country''s telephone system is based on two cans/string technology

...juuuuuust might be a gold farmer.

I love PA''s WoW stuff.

Yes, there are gold farmers, if you read the official boards (blah blah cesspool blah) you will see a bunch of stories and even specific names of known farmers. It seems Azshara or however you spell it is the place they most hang out. Check out the Blackhand realm forum, there are about 8-10 names in there of farmers.

Yep. Look for them selling items (blue and purple) in the early AM (between 5am and 8am EST) in IF. They barely respond to tells and usually have Asian sounding names. However, they have started making more American sounding names, but it is obvious who they are by their habits and auction style.
