Anonther one bites the dust.

WISH is no more. Not a shock and I was expecting it.

Who's next?

Looks like they''re selling off their servers (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5744410316). Interesting hardware - why PC2100 memory??

I saw somewhere where they were selling the servers they used to run the realms. I dunno if it was ebay or some other site.

I doubt it will sell on EBay for $120,000.00

*cough*

But honestly. Did we expect anything more? They filed for Chapter 11 like 4 months ago.

Let''s all pitch in, buy ''em ourselves, and start our OWN MMORPG. ""Gamers Without Lives!"" It''ll be awesome!

Nah, let''s just write an MMO from scratch, do 8 days of Beta, then pull out. The market can''t wait for some more of that good ol'' coitus interruptus, they''ll be talking about it for, like, days!!!

Speaking of dead games, anyone happen to remember ""Dawn""? The website still exists.

Even though now they are trying to push Race War Kingdoms i suppose.

that thing was never real. They just knew that to build a huge online community, you just need a FAQ of what every idiot on the internet ""wants"" in a game.

I did a story on this for IGN and ended up calling the phone number listed on the domain registeration and got his mother.
