If you have an ATI card and are tired of waiting for 2 minutes for WoW to actually start up, the 5.1 drivers cut that time to ZERO.
This has been my experience, at least.
What do you mean by 0 start up time? I assume you still need to go through the load screen. Do you mean all the entities load right away? Sometimes when I''ve logged out in Orgrimmar it takes a minute or two for all the players and NPCs to load...
I know that both me (with ATI card) and my cousin (with NVidia card) experienced identical 1-2 minute ""pause"" from the moment you double-click on WoW shortcut to the moment where the game actually starts loading and goes into the title screen.
Since the ATI driver update, the pause has been eliminated on my end.
I have an ATI card with older drivers (can''t remember what number) and my load time is very short, maybe 5-10 seconds. I definately notice because it took about 2 minutes to load EQ2.
Interesting....

I have a 9800 pro and it takes maybe 5 seconds to start WoW. If I''m running it after a fresh boot its almost instant.
This would only be an issue if I ever actually stopped playing WoW
