Unofficial secondary server for WoW?

Just kidding. I wonder how we happened to choose one of the few servers still dealing with a queue. Must be karma or something. Certis we''re you some evil world power in a previous life?

Johnny picked! I was just the messenger

Stick with the server if you''re on the fence guys. Waiting sucks but we have 38 people alone in the Alliance Guild and probably over 20 in the Horde side of things by now. I''m not going to sacrifice playing with all these cool people because there are a few short term issues. Until it''s sorted out, remember that if you''re in the character selection screen you''re fine. You can get in early, sit on the selection screen ALT-TAB out and pick up and play anytime you want. It''s not ideal for everyone but it''s the best we got right now.

Doesn''t it time you out if you are idle for too long. I found that if I even spent too much time selecting options for my character in the character creation screen, it would disconnect me from the server.

It might, hasn''t happened to me yet though.

It shouldn''t do it too quickly. 1/2 hour of inactivity maybe. I havn''t had any problems.

If anyone is looking for some hot secondary server action, I''ve been soloing a Gnome Rogue named Auggie on the server named Kargath and it is very low population. Come join me!! (I still have a character on Blackhand for GWJ nights, but the queue seems to be getting worse!)

You guys are not making the games sound worth it - Is it? Should I get EverQuest II instead?

I''m loving WoW. You can play on a less populated server, or depending on the hours in which you play you may not experience any difficulty.

Yep evenings on the popular servers can be a bit busy but for an aolt you can always find low servers.

Crick, it''s definitely worth it. Blackhand is one server out of many. Not once have I had to wait to play, granted, I have been playing on a different server than Blackhand. The game is absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend it

I already play this game too much. If/when Blackhand is down, I''ll take that as a sign that I need to be doing something else... or at least playing something else.

I''ve been playing with a few friends on Hyjal(Pacific) and I''ve never seen a que yet. There was a day of bad loot-lag, and occasional resets - otherwise it sounds like my experience has been a whole lot better than those trying to play on Blackhand.

Anyway, I decided I wanted a backup character and to get involved in the GWJ horde (they were requesting more peeps too) - but upon seeing Blackhand''s status at 10am pacific time... High! - I can''t bring myself to it. My feeling is GWJ should move and pick a role playing PvP server in the mountain zone.

The only way I see Blackhand being fixed is if Blizzard begins moving people''s characters off there for them. Which probably isn''t likely.

Marlin, Spleen, Gretz and I had a great time on shadowsong horde yesterday.

Why dont we list the alternate servers people are playing on and whether alliance or horde so that we can find each other and dont do a /GWJ answered by an echo.

Shadowsong Horde
Llane - ?
etc.

I have a couple of mostly unplayed characters on Shadowsong, too. That''ll likely be my backup server.

I''ve only had that when the server has been having ''issues''. I think I''ve sat in the inn for about half hour/45 minutes before it put me back at the char selection screen for ''normal'' time out logoffs.
