Hey everybody, I was wondering if you could help a brother out. I'm in the market for a new motherboard/cpu and I'm kinda at a loss as ot where I should be looking. Here's what I need:
not top of the line
affordable
very upgradable
can run half life 2 (and I guess other games that are out, but come on.)
not too concerned with integrated graphics or sound. preferably these would be not be options.
integrated lan I'm guessing is pretty much standard on every board now made but if it's missing, it's not a big blow.
Thanks if you guys can help.
*cough*
Damn you bagga I had just copied and pasted the link! Good catch, maybe another convert to the priceplotter.
Do you ever walk alone like a drifter in the dark?
Egg on my face. Thanks for pointing that out. Maybe I should look first for once. NAH!
Thanks a lot
No prob, I can Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V with the best of ''em And use PricePlotter! </shame>
I installed PricePlotter a couple weeks ago.. but only used it for the one day (but I did look at about 40 or so video cards to get some base prices for ya). I typcially don''t shop at NewEgg. I know you''re considering plugging into other websites... what about plugging into something like PriceWatch.com so you can get prices from multiple stores?
Steam: Vega
As long as product pages have a unique code and an easily attainable price, I can do it. I know Pricegrabber.com has been of interest too. Now if I could only find the time... I''ll get on those soon, promise.
