Your favourite car..........

This is probably already a topic some where but oh well. Im looking for a new car and was wondering what everyones favourite cars of all time were and if they you actually plan to own one of your favs at some point in time.

For me its a Lancia Integrale Evo.

And I damn well plan to own one as soon as I can find a really good one thats in my price range.

There''s a cool ""sports"" car by the company that makes the S-Mart mini... I''d love one of those. I plan to buy one, in maybe 10 years, when I''m married to Lindsay Lohan.

I just ordered a Honda Odyssey today, with all the gadgets - DVD & wireless headsets for the kids, satellite navigation system, leather, heated seats, etc. It is like a living room on wheels.

Still plan on buying a Corvette some day. I hear the new C6 is awesome.

Just recently (past 6 months), a sports car completely put me in awe and it would honestly be my dream to own one.

Go here and click the Play TV Spot window. If that video/commercial doesn''t get you excited about sports cars then nothing will.

my friends,

there will come a day, perhaps not in the near future, perhaps not in the lifetime of any that read this board... but there will come a day when I will be the proud owner of a new Dodge Dakota SLT 4 door extended cab pick-up in Hunter Greeen. It will have roll bars and big knobby tires, a bed liner and cover and it will be sweet.

until that day I will wait patiently in my mini-van kid hauler

I''d also love to have a Mini Cooper, but the old one is pretty much impossible to get here in Mexico, unless you want to pay what would get you a nice Mercedes-Benz.

I guess I love the mini cars, probably a subconscious desire to compensate for my huge wang.

Hedoesn''t look huge, but I will take your word for it.

Well, if you must talk about it, then it must be dinky

I love, love, love, love, love jeeps. I just got a Wrangler Sahara back in April, and the top stayed off it for a straight month and a half (until the monsoons arrived). My father in law has an old beat-up CJ7 that I''d love to take the time to rebuild whenever I get the extra money.

Why are you doing it to yourself? Aren''t kids getting enough TV at home already?

IMHO the is once of the last places where you still can actually talk to your children (besided a dinner table) about various stuff -- and they can''t run away from you!!

Even if you''re not into conversations with your kids, at least make them watch out the windows, or talk to each other, or read, or listed to their music (another instance of a place where you can listen to what they do) -- just not watch yet more tube.

""But, daddy!!! We''re going to be bored!! We ackshually also wanted to have a Playstation in our minivan!!""

Don''t worry. Just display your ""iron resolve"". They''ll manage

I luv VWs and Audis. If I was buying a car just for myself, and was sufficiently monied, I''d get an Audi TT. Mmmmm.

Audi A4. Been my dream car ever since I first drove one. Of course, I would also take an S4 or a TT, or (in a pinch ;)) a Porsche 911 Twin Turbo.

I dunno, man. I''d be a lot more impressed if the guy could drive better... Guess I''m spoiled on watching F1 racing.

Yep, those are on my shopping list right now.

The Evo is a bit steep, on the monthly basis, and I here it''s uncomfortable on long trips.

All time fave though is the Porsche 911.

The WRX... so much fun to drive its ridiculous...

When did this thread turn from ''Talk about cars'' to ''Bring up Supertanker''s kids''?

I happen to agree with the comments made, but that''s besides the point you meanies.

Hey, I''m sure Supertanker can tell us to F off just fine all by himself, thank you very much!

Oh, and uh, Rilla started it

/runs

And you sat on my half of the seat first!!!

That is a professional driver. I think he does just fine with a power slide on a wet road with a stree legal car.

I would agree with you if you could drive F1 on the street.

I realize that it was intentional - and I''m sure the driver is a professional - but if you want the feel of someone doing a cool power slide on a wet road, put him on a road, preferably in a busy city, and not (what looks to be) a race track. If he''s on a track, (to me at least) it looks a lot more impressive if he''s racing.

Would I mind if they had a commercial where the guy pulls up next to a Viper and any Porsche and blows them away? Not at all. Maybe a future commercial will show some more real world power of the beast.

Gorack and I looked up some Road and Track test numbers on the GT a few months ago and it is scary. It has to be one of the most powerful cars ever made for the street.

Infiniti...G35...sport coupe.....I drive one every day....

I was pretty interested in the G35 Coupe when it first came out until I actually went to test drive one. The back seat is absolutely useless. It''s much smaller than my Mustang''s back seat. So anyways after looking at that and deciding a four door would work much better for me my new dream car is the new Acura TL.

It''s his ""iron resolve"" that got him into this mess in the first place!

The 2005 Mustang bar none.

I cant wait!

Um er well and any of the ''63 - ''67 Vettes

Unimog! Nice one, late 60''s early 70''s.

For a car, Subaru WRX STi. Standard subaru blue of course.

My wife amazed me one day. I was scanning some offroading sites, and I had a picture of a beefy offroad jeep on the screen. She walked by and said, ""I want one of those."" So, I guess there''s a beefy trail crawling jeep in my future. Always thought she would have wanted a beetle convertible or something.

Amen man, Amen. I saw the thing for the first time in Need For Speed, and it''s my alltime favorite.

I have been diggin'' on this one lately:

Who needs a backseat?

That Bronco looks like it was inspired by a Short Circuit all-night marathon. Not meant as a slam or anything, but I immediately thought of Johnny Five. Is that body made of titanium?
