I hope you all paid your taxes. Here is my question: This is the first year I'm getting anything back and I've yet to get my refund checks. As most of you are now old, married and did I mention old, I was wondering if you could give me some wisdom on how long refund checks take.
It depends on when and how you sent them in. The closer to April 15 you send it, the longer it will take because you are in the huge wave of returns. Sending in a paper return also adds time. A paper return, sent today, it will likely be at least three weeks. I''ve had my refund back under 10 days for a electronic return sent in February. This year seems to be slow, as I sent mine electronically about two weeks ago and nothing yet.

I sent mine off in February via snail mail and got the check about 3 weeks later. I would guess that sending it in April it may be a couple of months.
It generally takes me eight weeks when I send in a paper return. If it helps make ya feel better, though, you can check online as to the status of your return on the IRS website. I think this is the first year this feature has been in place. Hope that helps!

Did anyone show their online out of state purchases?
Direct deposit takes within 2 weeks. The state returns are usually faster.
No and unless I bought a boat or a house online I''m not going to either
Ok... can anyone explain what the hell is that i the first place? I mean if i buy a game online and pay no tax i have to show it to IRS?
