Man stole vehicles to run down pedestrians

http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/South/04/15/pedestrians.struck.ap/index.html

Abdullah El-Amin Shareef, 25, is charged with first-degree murder and three counts of first-degree attempted murder stemming from the hit-and-runs, in which five pedestrians were struck. One victim was killed, and another was critically injured.

Surprisingly the press didn't make any video games and violence link.

give them time....

Most of the time the links between video games and violence come from the mouth of the accused. ""I played GTA3 and it made me steal a car, shoot a hooker, and gun down people casually strolling down the sidewalk. How come painting my car didn''t prevent the police from finding me?"" It is usually this the media jumps on, and the lawyers for the accused can use this to show how the person could not possibly be responsible for their actions. This annoys me.

edited because I don''t proofread.

He is obviously f*cked up and/or on something:

Wow. He looks like he''s in a completely different world. LSD, perhaps?

Looks like he just got done playing Daikatana..

You can see all of the iris of his eye... something seriously messed up is going on with that guy... amazing what you learn in anatomy and drawing classes...

Are you sure? The quality of the photograph might be making it look worse than it actually is. For me it''s more of the way his whole face looks slack, but his eyes look like he''s been in a war zone. Very weird.

I think we know whose fault this was...
