besides gaming, what other fun activities do you do?

Drinking
Reading
Researching and reviewing flims
Writing
Documentaries (real ones not michael moore)

and ashamed to admit it but ...

I watch Coronation Street religiously every Sunday when they show the weeks episodes back to back. It''s gotten to the point I tape it if I''m on vaction.

Heh, yeah, Karaoke is an awesome place to meet people. I''ve made a lot of friends from going to Karaoke. I went there last night, got pretty drunk, had a great time, and met some new friends. Fun stuff indeed.

Still waiting to hear about spin fishing.

As opposed to fly fishing, and with lures instead of bait.

Yeah, think of it as normal fishing. Using a spinning reel, and spinning rod(only denotes it as a rod to put a spinning reel on). Cast lure into sweet spot, reel it in, repeat. Think professional bass fisherman....of course, they''re probably using bait casters

Brewing Beer (sup bagga, we need to brew!), Drinking Beer, Paintball, Basketball, Football, Working Out, Dogs, Watching every sports event that comes on TV, Drums, Eating, Eating some more, Guitar, Eating More....

Then I like to have little snack.

Yeah we do need to brew again, it''s been too long. Let''s dump out the Dirt Brau and try something different. I forgot to put one of my favorite pasttimes: smashing wireless access points. Those things suck. Especially mine.

Other interests? Music. Playing music with friends (every friday night,) finding new music and listening to music, etc.

Hanging out with friends and generally having a good time (any excuse to throw a party, in other words.)

My wife and I love to travel and have recently taken up camping.

I''m also into watergardening and keep fish (and whatever wildlife decides to move in) in a pond that I built a few summers ago.

Jeb, I found a geocache by accident. We were in the guadalupe state park and I found it hidden in a rock outcropping. It was in a military strong box, or whatever they call them. The kind that hold ammo. I had no idea what it was but opened it and read all the stuff inside. Very neat conecpt. Too bad we didn''t have anything to leave in it.

Dru- I love ya man, but this sounded more or less like Vogon poetry to me.

This is certainly due only to my ignorance, as all of my fishing experiences involved dangling bait into water off the side of a boat as a pretense for smoking a lot of cigars and drinking a lot of beer. Any actual fish catches were deemed miraculous and promptly thrown into an icebox that had been brought solely to hold more beer.

*sniffle* I''m so proud! God has surely created you purely to ice fish. Welcome to the brotherhood.

<Adjusts hat.> Show me to the fish.

I''m a reader and a water gardener when not gaming. Sometimes I''ll even do laundry or wash a dish just for fun.

This thread is a cornucopia of new concepts for me. ''Water gardener''? Isn''t that like saying, ''cloth seamstress'' or ''leather shoe-shine?'' Do explain, slambie.

I do schoolwork, I don''t want to do it but I have to. Other than that I do stuff with my girlfriend or just go out with friends. The major one is that I play hockey ever friday after school in a friends cul-de-sac.

You sir are a mad man!

You sir are a mad man!

That''s woman. Mad, but female.

I thought it was assumed that all women were crazy.

*ducks*

They are.

*misses Minase hits Vector*

Certis is correct. I am la femme, and quite a crazy one at that.

For Sanjuro, water gardening is the thrill of wading around in a cold murky pond each spring repotting and fertilizing water lillies and various other aquatic plants. The results of my work can be seen
here...

Wow that''s pretty neat ! pity those nazi racoons got into it.

What do I do apart from gaming?

Crushing my enemies, watching them being driven before me and listening to the lamentation of their women.

That soccer, judo, rock climbing and finishing my %$""£^£$ masters

Someone needs to take up water gardening.

Quite good, isn''t it? Really brings science to life. It''s amazing how many renowned scientists who made vast advances in humankind''s knowledge of the universe were either completely bonkers or awful, awful people.

What got me about it wasn''t so much the wierd people, but rather that many of the ""facts"" of science are pretty well just educated guesses.

With the equvalent of a high school education in the sciences I was genuinely surprised by the recentness of a lot of the stuff I had been taught as being long established. I guess though, that''s the problem with exam based education where the aim is to get the highest points possible as opposed to actually providing an education

Bah. Everyone knows we were constructed from scratch out of adobe and brussel sprouts. But where did the brussel sprouts come from, smartasses?

What about the absurdity of religion?

usually plotting for world domination in my secret laboratory.

But sometimes I need a break from all of my awesome plans and go cycling, running, playing basketball, pool billard or mini golf, reading, coding, go out with my friends or my gf or both. Cooking or going out to a restaurant is also never a bad idea.

And when I am in a really bad mood I even get back to finishing my diploma thesis

Worshiping my wife

That''s an interesting hobby, can you introduce us?

Funny how many gamers go for weightlifting. Why do you guys do it?
