Bush:Caught on film

I don't post much in here anymore, but I couldn't resist posting this article. I'll be around to read the rhetoric from the right, but I probably won't be adding my 2 cents in any more because it's obvious where I stand and where others do.

For a second I thought this had something to do with Paris Hilton.

Then what''s the point of posting to the P&C forum?

I love it when something is called a cut when you decrease the amount you''re going to increase. If you were going to give 10% more and give 5% more, that is not a cut.

I enjoy how Bush''s critics complain that he doesn''t piss more federal money away and then complain about deficit spending in the same breath...can''t have it both ways.

Congratulations. You''ve discovered politicians.

Next week he''ll discover Puerto Rico and toasters!

Quit being so hard on Sigfry - he''ll learn...

A politician told his audience at a speech what they wanted to hear, then did something else? Well, that''s never happened before.

This thread makes baby Jesus cry, no Bush daughters in sight.

Looking pretty squarely in the face of the teaching professon and all that, I have to say that legislation that creates serious financial burdens on the states, without providing said financing, is not a super idea. See the No Child Left Behind Act, and the reaction of pretty much every state in the freaking Union. Thus endeth my biased opinion on that one.
