Matrix Revolutions SPOILER Thread

I think ""Jaws in Space"" will be called ""Jaws X""...

""Jaws vs....er...some other evil sea creature.""

I liked it. I liked Reloaded, too.

But... unfortunatly, that puts me in the same group as this guy, generally speaking.

I don''t read AICN very often, but holy crap... Is he for real? I''m still in shock after reading his ""Smith is Communism"" stuff... I''m sitting here thinking ""wtf?!?!?"", complete with the extra punctuation.

Wait, I got it!

Jaws vs. the Raptor from Jurassic Park...

Yes, a little hard to pull off, but it''s the ultimate matchup!

In the book Jurassic Park, the Raptors swim off the island.

Could happen.

Throw in a little Island of Dr Morreau and youve got a winner. (Provided you cast Marlon Brando and Val Kilmer)

Last time I looked, Brando was living on the Island of Dr. Morreau, so they''d be a package dead.

Actually Im surprised nei hasnt brought this up. Im sure most youngins will see the battle between Neo and Smith as derivitive of Dragon Ball Z.

I however, know the truth. For the true conniseurs, the battle is an homage to Fist of the North Star. The energy bubble things, the floating, the throwing into buildings are all their. The only cool thing in Fist of the North Star not in the Matrix Revolutions, is Kenchiro the main character has a building topple over on him as he is walking. Unphased, Kenchiro keeps walking thru the fallen building forming a WB like body cutout in the side of the building as he emerges.

It''s good ''ta be ''da King.

You might want to check out the lower part of this article then. Excerpt:

Essentially, Bin Laden has to come forward, tell his people they'll be ok, give himself up, negotiate a cease fire and allow his life to be the symbol of peaceful co-existence between both cultures. "The Machines" and "The Humans" "The Capitalist" and "The Fundamentalist Extremists"

Get this man a seat on the Security Council. Only Nixon can go to China! Only Kirk can go to Chronos! Only Bin Laden can make peace, if he agrees to be the symbol of peaceful co-existence between Capitalism and Humans.

Reality checker - do you think the Klingons use the Roman alphabet?

Don''t look at me. I didn''t write the language. Here''s an example. And you thought Cyrillic was tough to read.

Actually, I''ve got a couple of years of Russian under my belt, so the cyrillic part is easy. I just thought it was amusing that you would object to ""Anglicized"" Klingon with...Anglicized Klingon.

You''ve earned our geek badge for ""useless argument"" today.

Oh boy, you two should get some avatars that are actually appropriate for this message board.

Oh man, you two should get married already.

Schmuck!

Ha you thought the AICN Matrix Revolutions review was bad, check out thier Not Work Safe Blade 2 Review. God someone needs to kill everyone working for that site right now, I don''t understand how it can be so popular other than the fact that Harry Knowles is the industry''s ass puppet.

Also Ral and Rat Boy, you really do need to get married. Right now you''re living in sin and that makes Jesus angry. You won''t like him when he''s angry.

That''s my Family Guy reference for tonight.

Matrix did take up some from Anime... and some have compared it to Ghost in the Shell. The reason I didn''t mention anything, same reason I have not said anything in terms of whether I like the movie or not... mostly because I went to see it (huge battle, all the theaters were sold out!), but didn''t pay much attention until the Machines broke into Zion, what ever happened before ...um, yeahh! However judging by what I saw, its good action/sci-fi movie which is not related to the Matrix...
