A reasonable Israeli...

He''ll be looking for new work soon, I''d wager.

Would you try to make this statement a little more clear? I know you''re not trying to say that most Israeli''s are bloodthirsty, are you?

Oh I wouldnt put it past him Melnok...

No, only the Israeli that matters the most right now:

Sharon.

So...by that logic we can blame every Palestinian because of Arafat?

Am I not applauding the Military Chief for his criticism of Israel''s current military policy?

WTF?!

That is totally uncalled for and unacceptable. You have a serious chip on your shoulder and some very deep mental issues.

To answer your question more directly, Arafat rules by force, not all Palestinians support him and none of them really has a choice. Sharon was voted into office by the people. So, yes, I would say that you can blame the Israeli nation for Sharon''s policies. But, it would be harder to blame the Palestinians for the policies that Arafat supports.

You take me way too seriously.

I do have a question for you:

Under what circumstances is it okay to criticize the Israeli nation, to criticize a Jewis person and not have it be Anti-Semitic? Does such a situation exist?

If the Israeli people voted this General into office and he set a more peaceful policy, then I would conversely say that the people of Israel are not a bloodthirsty people but a peaceful one.

What exactly do you mean by this? I''m a little confused.

You have no taken the place of Ratboy as the resident leftist whacko!

Racial slurs, even when they''re aimed at yourself or are presented tongue-in-cheek, are not wanted on these boards. Everyone seriously needs to get back to talking about the topics instead of debating how one another debates.
