Yay, just got back from my local EB ... now I have it sitting here on my desk at work.. staring at me...
Can't wait to get home to play it, for it keeps taunting me, and undressing me with it's cold blank stare.... I feel all dirty... but I generally do ^_^
So much for getting anything done this weekend...
If/when I buy a hockey game I think it''ll be SEGA''s ESPN hockey for the Xbox. Last year''s was great and this year''s is even better apparently.
I''m also not a huge fan of the more ""arcade"" feel of EA''s version.

I heard they revamped 2004 so the AI is a lot better than last years. I bought ESPN Hockey already and it is great. However is NHL 2004 is good I might buy that one too.
Not that I''m big on the PC versions of sports games, give NHL 2004 demo for the PC a whirl, you''ll find the overall feel has changed a bit.
The last one I played was 2002 .. I skipped ''03 altogether.
I''ll try to post better impression(s) of it after I''ve had it home for some ""alone time"".
Eternal Darkness | Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes | Too Human | Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon | Captain America: Super Soldier | Max Payne 3 | Splinter Cell: Blacklist | Assassin's Creed: Unity | Far Cry Primal | the Division | For Honor | Far Cry 5
I grabbed ESPN Hockey (Xbox) and now that I''ve got my sliders set it''s playin like buttah.
However it''s not without it''s problems especially on-line, this series has always involved a lot of tweaking till you find your sweet spot but when you get there WOO-HOO !
End of line
