We're chasing them out of Texas!

If anyone from the state of Texas complains again that California politics are messed up, I''ll remind them of this. This is pathetic...for both parties.

Edit: I shouldn''t have to remind you that you need them IN Texas, not out. One wonder''s if Tom Delay is going to interfere again.

The Democrats are being poor losers.

Nowhere in either of the articles I''ve read on this does it explain why they should redistrict? What is the benefit for the citizens? This is what the Texas residents'' tax payers are forced to put money towards?

Yeah, funny thing is everyone is rambling on about the cowardness of Texas Democrats or whatever but no-one seems to care about the sheer idiocy of the redistricting policy.

They shouldn''t have to be losers in the first place. Hence their actions. I am sure if the parties and redistricting were reversed, we would see the same reaction.

Looks to me like the vote did not obtain the 2/3 majority traditionally required to bring it to the floor, so the governor decided to call a second session so he could break his promise to abide by that tradition.

I''d say the Dems are pretty justified in this. How many times will they try to force this re-districting down people''s throats?

Yeeehhaaaa!!!!
