Teamspeak and EQ = Dangerous Combo

Wow! I am such a blabbermouth. The crazy thing is we just got done with the GWJ EQ night and I dont remember playing. We played for 2 1/2 hours and it just went *poof*

This was my first time using Teamspeak. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, yet, I dont know if its safe to continue to do so. I know atleast the ears of Certis and Sway will get a reprieve. It will probably have the side effect that I will actually pay attention to what I'm doing in game and acknowledge the passage of time.

Well, another good side effect is that Null, Certis and Sway can verify that I am in fact a male despite playing many female characters

Catch yall next week!

I''m pretty sure I was just as bad Fang, poor Sway barely got a word in edge-wise amongst the torrent that was our gaming brilliance!

Oh, don''t worry about it, guys. I just turned off the sound, pretended it was a pause, and talked without using the push-to-talk button. It was perfectly enjoyable. Actually, I blame Elysium. If he had been there, Fang would have had the proper introduction to TeamSpeak. You see, we don''t normally talk about gaming on TS. I mean, that''s what the forums are for, right?

We prefer to use TeamSpeak to give us the tactical edge in whatever game we might be playing. For instance, let''s pretend Certis just summoned yet another tiny ineffective beast. Elysium and I would heartily congratulate Certis for dooming us all. Another example: I run out and pull something that cons flashing fiery red to me thinking that, with the help of our stalwart group of low level characters, we will have no problem dispatching the angry giant demon. Utilizing TeamSpeak''s unique features, Certis and Elysium would actually LOL (in real life!) because they had secretly already run and zoned while I was returning with my pull. It''s really quite spectacular.

So don''t be too hard on yourself for the first time out. If you want some good training, turn off your mic and join TeamSpeak on Thursday nights when they''re playing Raven Shield. You''ll get a good idea of the etiquette and rhetoric expected of a voice participant.

I used it a few times for in game stuff. Like when Frogh kept getting lost. Also when Sapone pulled Roary Fishpouncer or when our pets chased a runner and brought back an army of kittens that wiped our whole party.

I would use it to great advantage in Planetside. The headset is definitely invaluable just for the earphones alone. You hear so much more and can distinguish important sounds much easier with the headset. It saved my ass a lot last night from people sneaking up on me, aircraft flying overhead and vehicles trying to run me over.

That is why I admin our Guild Avatar TS server, every once in while I just need to mute a couple of the guys who want to blather endlessly about the meta game or what not :). Although I have taken to just saying ""We are heading into combat"" as their que to shut the hell up. I spent a few years dealing with radio traffic and dispatchers, some times the urge to try force 10 code down everyone''s throats just clean up the traffic is huge but then it''s supposed to be fun for everyone.

You would not be happy with our set up then, Griffon. Teamspeak is used almost as an intentional distraction to lead others toward ill gotten ends. It''s the only solid way to get a chance to dance on their corpses.

Just like Raven Shield then?!?
