Today's WTF story/controversey

So I guess you can lump Bush, Rumsfeld, Franks, and Company in with the likes of Milosevich, seeing how they''re all being accused by so-called ""European weenies."" You wonder why America''s attitude is failing to win more support overseas.

Milosevich was not accused by European weenies. People who have said about Bush, Bush, Franks, Powell, Rummy, Norman, etc. are European weenies. There is a difference.

No. I said if they do, the court would go far in my eyes. The ICC would really benefit the Netherlands, you don''t do anything. That isn''t an insult but it is designed to target the United States by hostile governments such as France.

Too many of you who post here, on any issue, figured out what Bush thinks, then go ""I hate Bush"" and work backwards.

Okay I''ll try to circumvent all your low-blows here.
If the ICC was designed in a way that idiotic cases against eg. Bush couldn''t be made and the court itself would be as impartial as possible and without any political agenda would you support it? That''s my point, would you support any international court of justice?

It would have to have have a right to appeal, impartial as possible, and stop frivilous suits. I could support it.

I wasn''t trying to insult you. I was just stating a fact that many countries do not acitvily engage in ""international military efforts"" like the United States, U.K., etc. Therefore, it is easier for those countrys to sign on to something like this. You wouldn''t be a target.

You mean the military efforts like Holland probably sending troops in order to police 22% of the Iraqi land-mass? Granted, it''s a deserted area but still, don''t downplay every European effort in the various US/UK campaigns, what about Poland in Iraq for instance? And there are a lot of countries involved in the war against Terror, Operation Enduring Freedom (Germany & Holland taking up the ISAF force) or various other activities. And why do you still regard almost every Western-European government as ''anti-coalition'' while there is much progress in the war against terror in eg. France (arresting the Kalkh members). Remember that most negative reactions against US policy were directly caused by the Bush administration and their way of forcing the war against Iraq (maybe for the good of the campaign against terror but please, show me some proof here!) upon the world. Again, why do you try to downplay international efforts in the war against terrorism to fit your own narrow view of ""we good, they baaad""?

...Okay now that I uttered all of this I really feel like I''m losing my cool here but sheesh, I was just stating a fact that many countries do not acitvily engage in ""international military efforts"" like the United States, U.K., etc. Therefore, it is easier for those countrys to sign on to something like this.

BS!

Let''s not forget the French rounding up all those Iranians (some terrorists, most not) over the weekend. How American of them.

Yeah, the Mujahedin Kalkh (or whatever) guys I was talking about.
