Tell me this won't be fun!

I knew this film was in the works, but I had no idea it was so close to release. I dare you to tell me this won't be fun to watch. I DARE YOU!

We're not safe awake or asleep!

Seems to me if you're not safe awake, why would you think sleeping would make you any safer?

I can't wait!

Yeah I bet itll be fun, in a Jason X sorta way. Even though I havent gotten to see Jason X yet.

Um...

No.

It won''t be fun, Gaald.

RAMPAGE!

Well I for one think this will be fun to watch.

Try and be drunk when you see it. It may be less painful

Actually, that sounds like fun. It seems like one of those movies you wanna see drunk, especially with drunk friends.

You know what''s really sad? Most of the target audience for these movies only have the faintest idea who Freddy and Jason are.

He''s got a point. The target audience is of the Scream generation. I feel old. *shudder*

Jason X was a hilarous B-Movie. But I would never ever go into a cinema for that movie. Renting it was ok though. I''d say for me the same is true for Freddy vs Jason.

The silly thing is, I think its more logical that they''d team up. Or not necessarily team up but they wouldn''t get in each others way. There are plenty of people in the world to kill.

Do you think the Night Stalker wanted to kill Charles Manson? No he probably idolizes him and John Wayne Gasey and Lizzie Borden and Son of Sam or whomever.

slasher B-Movies are not about logics

Saw a preview before Xmen. Something about a massive virus turning the masses into Zombies. Forgot the guy behind it, but did some other movies I liked. I haven''t been that scared in a preview for a long time. Don''t like scary movies but this one looked really interesting. Wish I knew the name.....

Is it 28 Days Later? Thats just my guess. I thought I saw the poster.

First time I saw preview for Freddy vs. Jason, one thing popped into my mind... StreetFighter. The next thing you know they will be doing 27 combo-hits for 50% damage... Than again, how do we classify this movie? Action, Horror, or Comedy?

I mean how stoned you have to be to come up with such thing.

I for one normally don''t care about horror movies but I''m really looking forward to this one.

Pyro and Reaper, thats the one! Thanks.

Mrs. Yomm loves this type of stuff, and its a pledge of our love that she doesn''t call me the sissy boy I am when it comes to these movies. The trailer looked gritty and plenty of suspence, which I''m down with. I just don''t like gore (though I love it in war movies, go figure).

This is one I want to see, but don''t know if I can drag myself into the theater and act like a 3 year old in front of an evil looking clown.

28 days later is just appearing on dvd here in the UK and I did go see it in the theatre about 6 months ago.

Good film and it''s good to see zombies that aren''t slow shambling things. It does look amateur at times though due to the way the fim was shot (lots of blair witch shaky amateur camera stuff) but overall surprisingly good and did make me jump several times which is unusual nowadays. Go see!

Is it gory/gross?
Or just got that suspence thing going. Blair Witch scared the bejeebies out of me, but at least it wasn''t bloody.

It is Gory, extremely so in places but it is in keeping with the film and not too excessive and it is DAMN scary in a couple of places there are a few good jump out of your seat moments and that''s pretty rare nowadays.

Sorry, I''d rather gouge out my own intestines with a rusty, infected spoon than see Freddy Vs. Jason or whatever it''ll be called.

Actually, I think that scene is in the movie.

An even better reason to avoid it.

So... who wants to bet that only the kids having pre-martial sex die? I had a friend who was convinced that the extreme right was funding all such horror movies to help stop pre-martial sex, one of the more interesting points is that the heroine never manages to get lucky in any of these :).

Pass... but I say that without actually indulging my morbid curiosity to watch the trailer... I just don''t know what generation these are targeted at any more
