Are there any places to take a PC game back still?

I want to go get Generals tonight and see how I like it BUT if it runs like crap I want to take it back. I know Electronic Boutique is not an option anymore. Is anywhere else?

Doesn''t Software Etc. still take returns? I don''t know personally, we don''t have them around here.

Honestly Flux, I think if you talk to an EB manager and ask for specific permission to return the game the next day if it doesn''t run well he/she will probably accomodate you.

I might try that except I am looking on ebay right now and it is a lot cheaper there for unopened copies.

I will have to research more.

The Electronics Boutique near me still buys PC games. However, don''t expect a suitcase of bills to be pushed across the counter. I brought in Freelancer, BF1942, and Neverwinter Nights a few weeks ago and pulled down about $30. Ebay might be a little better since you''re selling directly to the consumer.

I meant returned for at least store credit Sway

Yes they do. I now give them my business instead of EB (where I used to shop). I can''t remember the last time I bothered to return something, and it''s been at least a year since I even bother to exchanging a title, but I just flat out won''t buy things from stores that refuse returns, or that institute return fee''s (clearly where packaging is damages or some such it''s a different case). Comp is my favorite whipping boy, they will even charge you a 15% restocking fee on exchanges, even if it''s unopened printer paper. Madness. Vote loud and hard with your dollar if you just roll over and take it, the abuse will only get worse.

Unfortunately there isn''t a Software ETC here either

Yup, CompUSA sure does suck. They actually tried to charge me a return fee on a powersuply that was f*cking broken.
I love corporate greed.
