What games are you looking forward to this E3?

I just scanned a list of games shown at E3 this year and I must say if all of these titles would be released this year, it would leave a huge hole in my pocket. I also noticed that my focus shifted a bit from PC to console games. And when I look at games like Doom,Breed, Stalker or Half Life 2 I am not even sure if I will buy these for PC or rather wait for the XBox port.
And I am very confident that I will get both Deus Ex2 and Thief 3 for Xbox. With my currently very limited time for gaming investing 1200 Euros in a decent rig seems like throwing money out of the window. But we will see when the games finally arrive ;). Anyway this year seems like it will be a good E3 with tons of games for me to look forward to. The only bad thing I noticed was that neither The Lost nor Duality are on the list for this years E3. I hope these two do not get canned. There surely are games that were not yet on that list but will be shown for sure ( I hope for Psychonauts for example :)). My list:

DOOM III (PC, no site yet)
Starcraft: Ghost (Xbox, site)
Breed (PC, site)
The Kore Gang (Xbox, site)

The games I''m most looking forward to hearing about, in this order:

Deus Ex 2
Half-Life 2
Halo 2
SC: Ghost
Diablo2: LoD v1.10 (HA!)
Echelon: Wind Warriors (I''m not sure if this actually is going to be at E3 but I could have swore I heard it was)

Fable is going to suck. I just have a feeling it''s going to be Blinxtastic.

The games I''m looking forward to:

Half-Life 2, Middle-earth Online, Horizons: Empire of Istaria, Greyhawk, Vampire, NWN expansion, Turbine''s new MMOG, Mario 128, MarioKart, Donkey Kong, MGS3, MGS:TS, Eternal Darkness 2, RL3, Final Fantasy: CC, Tales, KOTR, World of Warcraft, Starcraft Ghost, LOTR: Return of the King, Monolith''s RPG, X-Men Legends, Metroid Prime 2, and a whole lot more.

Metal Gear Solid 3
Syphon Filter Omega Strain
Gran Turismo 4
Deus Ex 2
Half Life 2
Team Fortress 2
Jedi Academy
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assualt
Rome: Total War
Knights of the Old Republic
Vampire Bloodlines
World of WarCraft
StarCraft Ghost

And the maybe they''ll get announced at E3 games:

Splinter Cell 2
Grand Theft Auto 4
(VC was kind of GTA3.5)
Diablo 3
Xwing 4
(A hope, seeing how TG is already developing a golden oldie for LEC)
Sub Command 2 (There have been rumors)

The biggest game for me will be Halo 2 hands down, I still tend to fire up number one almost every day.

I cannot get why people love Halo. It had good control and graphics but I thought the levels were boring and the art design wasn''t that good. Too much looked the same. I would much rather play Half-Life 2 on the Xbox (I''ll get it on platform it hits first) than Halo 2.

Why not wait with judging a game until it is released?

What I like about Halo is how the story progressed in single player and also that the gameplay was more diverse than in your average shooter. The only frustrating level for me was the library. But boring, how?

Too much of the game looked alike. The stroy was ok.

A lot of the criticism against Halo is well deserved, but I thought the game played terrific. I can''t wait for the PC version if only to see what kind of multiplayer they''ve implemented. As for my list, it''s almost entirely PC. What a shame I love a platform that is clearly ''dying'' with terrible games like:

Half-Life 2
Deus Ex 2
Doom 3
Everquest 2
Thief 3
Full Throtle 2

How shall I ever be a happy gamer with so little to look forward to. Oooh tragic despair!

Noone for Lionheart?

Which happens to also be by Black Isle with Reflexive. Zax Alien Hunter is amuch more professional product than I thought. Its more of a deathtrap maze/puzzle game than an action RPG like Diablo. Not my cup of tea but the engine seems solid and ripe for some Black Isle spice.

and Troika announced something recently no? Oh, thats right the Vampire game

WoW, and any Diablo news tops my list.

True Fantasy Online, Mythica, DAoC new expansion (not that Im going to play it ever again but I am interested in keeping tabs on its future direction)

Minor interest in Sudeki.

I have strong reservations about Fable too. But I''ve already addressed that in other threads so I wont regurgitate it here.

I knew I''d forgotten one. Lionheart is defintely on my radar.

The new Vampire game, I could take or leave. I''ll need to hear more about it before I''ll get myself too excited.

Hot, big-breasted, gothic babes should always be on the list!

I forgot Lionheart too.

The game I''m looking forward to seeing most at E3 is Lock On: Modern Air Combat. Besides that, I wanna see:

Rise of Nations
MS Train Simulator 2
Flight Simulator: A Century of Flight
Thief III
Deus Ex 2

And whatever else tickles my fancy.

F-Zero, Mario Kart (it will make me buy another cube), the new Mario and Metroid Prime 2.

Thinking about that, those titles are a bit boring really. I need to go find a new game to look forward to, something thats not a damn sequel.

I don''t know if you''ve seen this yet, Elysium. It goes into the current plans for Halo PC multiplayer. Most of it sounds all good except for one key thing; no co-op. For now anyway.

Other cool stuff, it sounds like you can destroy vehicles like the jeep and tank in multi because they talk about setting respawn times for them.
There will be a new version of the jeep sporting a rocket launcher and you can get the Banshee in multi. They''re also going to be adding the fuel rod gun to the weapon mix. That''s the big green globby gun.

Good link, Reaper. Thanks for the read!

Well, my list is small comparing to everyone! I wonder why? anyway...

Deus Ex 2
Half-Life 2
Halo 2
SW: Galaxies (even though i beta testing it, its a great game... can''t wait for it to be out)

...and maybe Splinter Cell 2 if it will be on the show.

sh*t I just realized that with Halo 2, Half-Life 2 and Deus Ex 2 the sequels to my three favorite games will be prominently shown at the E3

Half-Life 2 (how could anyone not pick that?)
Dues-Ex 2 (though I have to say it will fall down on my list as I have a ton of gaming hours already planned for everything else)
Vampires 2 (sorta, I''m going to go with the majority opinions when it comes out)

But, besides PS, Rise of Nations, my next biggest ''thang'' is going to be Republic. I love the idea, gameplay looks really sweet, but I''ll be reading everything I can when it gets close to coming out. I thought Mobsters was going to be kick ass, but that was a micro-management nightmare, I hope Republic isn''t going to be that bad.
