Well, I guess Bob Barr is slime then.

Yes.

I tell you who I think is slime. Newt Gingrich! Abandoned his wife when she was diagnosed with cancer to pursue his political career. (This is not a by proxy defense of Clinton, just another politician who hung his family out to dry for power)

Ironic, since Barr was one of the ones hell-bent on getting Clinton thrown out of office for the same transgression he was guilty of.

By the way, is Rudy Guiliani slime?

Yes. Guiliani has redemned him self in my eyes. Clinton never has. Newt and Barr haven''t. Barr at least is a hawk on privacy issues. I''m not a Republican btw.

Clinton could earn respect in my eyes but he''ll have to get working on it.

Ah, so in your eyes, breaking the solemn ""till death do us part vow"" is forgivable as long as you do something good to make up for it. I don''t suppose stopping genocide in Kosovo counts?

Look you know what? Im going to appologize because my post was inflamatory. The posts since seem to have a little heat in them too.

IMHO, it never should have been an issue with Clinton since it was his private life. I personaly choose to ignore gossip regarding sex and affairs. Unless of course its something far more despicable like rape or child molestation.

I frame it like we are a jury. In the case of Clinton, I feel than any credible judge would have told the jury to disregard all the testimony prior to Clinton purgering himself.

I do have personal issues with zealous accusers.

It''s just a sarcastic remark out of frustration. Seems like Bush is getting a lot of heat from a small vocal minority in the US for things that a Democrat (namely Clinton) had done in the past. Clintion bombed a few countries without even going to the UN. Clinton lied, Bush mis-speaks. Clinton''s scandels and many very questionable presidental pardons and yet Bush is somehow worse because of his ties to the oil industry. I just don''t get why some people hate him so much.

Because he''s not their guy. The Republicans are the same.

Imagine how pissed off both parties would be if an independent got elected.

""We can''t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans ..."" (President Bill Clinton, USA Today, March 11, 1993, Page 2A)
