What the HELL?

What the HELL is going on with the Red Sox?! Opening day loss to Tampa, after Pedro pitched SOOO well, now I watch tonight and they blow two 3 run leads..this is Tampa Bay, not New York or Anaheim. It's tied 8-8 in the 9th.

Usually we tank at the end of the year, not the beginging!

Ugh. Disgusting. 0-162 here we come. It's over...mail it in..I'm burning my tickets.

We're cursed.

Hey, at least you don''t live in the same state as the Milwaukee Brewers.

Don''t underestimate the power of Lou Pinella.

Well, Milwaukee will always have the best mascot in sports, hands down. How can you not love a guy that slides into, I believe, a huge beer glass?

- Lou hasn''t even had to dig into his bag of tricks or play any of his antics. I''m ill.

Woohoo, just secured tickets for the Twins home opener this Friday night. Third straight year I''ve made it to the Twins opener. Wait, and the Twins just suddenly became good despite the odds two years ago. Coincidence?

Pshhhht, you should have put that money towards hot tub seats for the Saint Paul Saints! Nothing like getting a massage from a nun.

You know, that actually made me really want to go to a St. Paul Saints game. I can''t wait til their season starts up. Baseball under the stars in a minor league stadium, where the game is halted everytime a train passes by (tracks just beyond the outfield wall) is somehow more pure.

It took **GULP** 16 innings to beat the Devil Dogs, but the Red Sox pulled it out!

161-1 here we come!! World Series bound! There''s no stopping us now!

w00t!

Someone get Pulse''s medication!

Baltimore Orioles: Where even the owner wants to lose

Bastard wants the O''s to suck so badly that the league won''t push for a D.C team. I can''t decide who I hate more, him or France.

Someone get Pulse''s medication!

I''m on an IV drip, it gets into the blood faster that way!

That''s true, we do have the coolest mascot. Of course, nobody seems him because the Brewers are so bad no one goes to games. That''s a shame, because the new stadium is actually pretty nice.
I''d consider it a successful season if they got even close to going .500 this year.

I loved the old Brewers hat too. Haven''t seen much of them since they left the AL. Last Brewers game I saw was at Fenway Park in, I''m thinking 1992. The Brewers beat the Red Sox, something like 18-3.

The new stadium looked nice during last years all star game.

Another win for the Sox. I''m telling ya...161-1 here we come.

What I haven''t said is that we''ll get to game 7 of the World Series, be up by 8 runs in the top of the 9th...and end up losing.

Time for some more medication!

**EDIT**
I meant to add: We''ll end up losing...in the MOST HORRIFIC way possible. The kind of loss that not only makes you cry, but scars you deeper than any knife through the heart of any tragic breakup by the hottest girl you ever dated. The kind of loss where it feels like your dog died. The kind of loss where they not only lose, but it feels like your heart was cut out and then stepped on.

oh yea baby..baseball season''s back!!

Red Sox all the way!

The only baseball game I ever enjoyed was 3 years ago, when I got to go to Wrigley Field and watch the (White, but still) Sox play the Cubs in a skybox...Those hot dogs are quite good!

I saw a Cubs / Dodgers game at Wrigley a few years ago. Great ballpark and atmosphere, as well as hot dogs. I had a (few) 16 oz. can of Old Milwaukee too. It was the only ball park I know of where they give you the can.

Good times...good times.

Wait, and the Twins just suddenly became good despite the odds two years ago. Coincidence?

The people of Minnesota thank you.

You''re welcome.

The Twins really made out in that Knoblach trade, which at the time I thought was a bad trade for the Twins...who knew?!

Any time the Evil Empire gets the bad end of a trade, I''m happy.
